... looking good comes so effortlessly to some women? I mean when I try to look good or elegant, right, I never totally pull it off. My bra strap falls out, my skirt twists around, my belt starts to come off or something. It's like i have to constantly fidget to keep things looking ok meanwhile other girls just seem to look great. Being fashionable and elegant is just so natural for them. I'm a dag basically, lol, I seem to hit and miss in that regard. And being that I dont have much money, I cant always keep up with the latest fashions, I just dont have the cash to be constantly buying shit and besides, thats such a superficial way to live... where do girls get their money from? Maybe if I was a stick thin supermodel type it wouldnt matter, I could wear a potato sack and look good... but that's just not how it is. It's just frustrating to feel so painfully "average" sometimes and not be the elegant, sophisticated, unique style queen that others seem to be. :fury:

Yeah same. I find it hard to slip effortlessly into a particular style...always feel like i look like a try hard. Plus I'm just a dope - for instance the other day i bought this gorgeous top for work. i catch the bus to the city, work for about an hour before another shop assistant arrives and points out i still have the tag on and its sticking out... :laugh:

I dont know i think you ladies are oversizing some women, and are down playing how beautiful you guys are. I have seen pictures of both of you, and you both are very gorgeous, if i saw you guys on the street id probably think what you guys are thinking about other girls. As many girls that have seen you guys probably have.
The only thing with me is that i could care less about fashion lol. Im the type of girl give a basketball too for a gift not a skirt lol. Im so damn happy in sweats and jeans. Thats all i wear. To me what boots are hot,and what this and that are in i dont care, because all of them look retarded on me. I'm a 5'11 kind of chubby in a sense, especially now that im pregnant, id look like a fucking dumbass trying to wear that shit. Sweats is what look bests on me.
Bottom line is, wear what looks best on you, and not what is in.

i was just about to say the samething shattered.....when i saw both Amara and _carmi, i was jealous because i don't think that i am that beautiful. I have the clothes that are "in" style i would what you would call "a stick thin" girl, although i think i am far from a supermodel. don't compare yourself to others that will get you nowhere in life. be happy with who YOU are no matter what. so what you forgot to take the tag off your shirt, that's happen to alot of people. as soon as you are comfortable with yourself everything else will fall into place.

I wasnt trying to dig for compliments but thanks anyway. It'd just be nice to not have to 'think' so much about trying to look decent. I wish I could be a guy and roll out of bed put on pretty much the same shit from the day before and no more to it than that. We have it tougher as females - our style and elegance takes too much work! If only tags on clothes, daggy old trackies and hand-me-down tshirts from older brothers was the fashion - i'd be set! lol.
i hate days when you feel like you look shit in every outfit you try! so you go out feeling shit and then seeing a girl wearing the same as you only looking 10 times hotter
