The former Tankstress from Master P’s No Limit record label is making a new album entitled Betty Rocka Locksmith slated for February of 2010. That’s right, if you forgot about Mia X; she’s making her return after a decade of silence.
Apparently the silence is due to the unexpected passing of her mother and father. She’s also been helping her younger sister get through medical school. The last full length album she put out was Mama Drama in 1998. Mia was showcased on C-Murder’s song “Mihita” off his Screamin’ 4 Vengeance album released last year.
My honest opinion is that Mia X could murk any female rapper when it comes to beef. Not to mention one of the first female rappers to hit the commercial rap scene in the 90’s besides Lady of Rage. I know I’ll get clowned on for even saying that, but it’s why it’s called an opinion.
Rapper B.G. originally of Cash Money Records and a Hot Boys member was arrested on November 3rd on felony gun charges in New Orleans. According to sources, B-Gizzle was pulled over and when cops searched his vehicle, three guns were discovered. Two of the guns were reportedly stolen. He was then charged with illegal carrying of weapons and appeared in court November 5th but little or no details were given on his bond.
Accompanying B.G.’s arrest were two friends of his which were also charged with illegal carrying of firearms. 17 year old Demounde Pollard and 28 year old Jerod Fedison. Pollard was booked on multiple drug charges and two counts of illegal possession of stolen firearms and and one count of illegal carrying of a weapon.
Here is 50 Cent’s street video for “Stretch” and it’s the second half of his “Crime Wave” mini movie video clip, so click here if you missed that one.
Honestly I enjoy these street videos a lot more than the big budget ones nowadays.
So today U2 performed live at the MTV Europe Awards in Berlin and during their set they brought our Jay-Z to perform “Sunday Bloody Sunday.”
I’m sorry Beans, but I really don’t think Jay is going to reply to you. He’s past needing beef for promotion. Plus do you really think he’s going to risk the status he has now by participating in a beef he could quite possible lose?
I guess Eminem liked being associated with DJ Hero so much that he decided to do it again with Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Some of you got mad that I thought DJ Hero was a bit lame so let me just say Modern Warfare 2 is going to fucking rock. Rukas bought me the preorder for my birthday. This will be epic.
If you didn’t know, Method Man, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah are releasing a joint album called The Wu Massacre on December 22nd. To promote it they are releasing three Se7en inspired trailers, below are the first two.

Video director John Columbo has released this behind the scenes look at the shooting of the video for Slaughterhouse’s “Microphone.”
http://www.vimeo.com/7455736Heat broke the news here so check that out for all the details, but you can watch the two part video interview below. Beanie Sigel goes in on Jay-Z’s shady business practices and 50 Cent promotes his album.
This really doesn’t come as a shock after the latest attacks from Beanie Sigel on Jay-Z. Philadelphia’s own Power 99 radio station conducted an interview yesterday with 50 Cent and Beanie Sigel along side him.
During the interview it was revealed that G-Unit’s newest member would indeed be Beanie Sigel himself. Apparently Beans was in the background chanting the groups call; G-G-G-Unit! The Broadstreet Bully also stated that he won’t stop attacking Jay-Z until he responds with the proper respect.
Sigel stated that Jigga is nothing more than a crumb. During an interview last week, Jay-Z has this and much more to say regarding the Beanie Sigel attacks:
“He has a lot to complain about,” Jay-Z said jokingly. “Not me. Well Beanie Sigel at the time, and you can look it up if you like, just to be honest, was driving two Bentleys, I don’t know how. It’s impossible to drive two cars at one time with his mama in the sticks and selling 800,000 records. I don’t know what more you can do for somebody at that point. What people choose to do when they attain that type of success, you know, at some point you have to look in the mirror and look at yourself.”
“Beanie Sigel had a record deal, a record label, and a clothing line. And never went platinum, ever. I don’t know in the history of rap has anyone done so much with so little.,” Jay-Z added. ” I don’t know what more you can do for a person at that point. But a record deal, that’s normal. A record label and a clothing line, so, if that’s not pushing a person, shit. Thank-you.”
