Do you do things because everyone else does them?

This, sir, is not possible, at all!

Everyone gets influenced by external factors. Some just use the brain more often than other people.
Yeah. I get what you mean. I guess I meant to say that I think and evaluate rather than take everything at face value like a lot of people seem to.

Wow, I missed this post.

Sorry for not getting here earlier, but it was me. I was spreading some rep around so that I could neg bacho again and I came to your post. Instead of the usual blank positive reps I gave to everyone else, I took the time to neg you and leave you a comment. You should feel honored that I put the time and love into thinking of something mean to say to you. With bacho, I just post extremely large pictures which suck up his bandwidth and take forever to load. Everytime he loads his User CP, he waits for 30 minutes on his 56k dial up connection for the aerial shot of the Earth.

It's not cool to me to be a nonconformist anymore. I got that out of my system in my teen years.
But not boys apparently according to your post in the other thread?

It's not about being "anti-establishment" it's about being your own person in a society that's geared towards clones.

Anyone with a real job would know what I mean, I think. Not to imply that you don't have a real job as I've no clue as to what you do. I'm just saying.

I have another question.

Do you not do things because everyone else does them?

As in, do you try to be different?

If so, that is just as bad.
If this was for me, I don't. I just do what I feel most of the time. I hate that for small decisions I have to stop and think how this will impact my job or something though. Bah.

yeh i know what you mean, i cant go around saying "i hate Dominicans because they smell" because its not politically correct.
If you feel like it.. knock yourself out!

What I do, and so far it has worked for me, is do what I feel. I say/do as I like and it doesn't get me in trouble, but then I'm not someone who wants to scare small children with my fashion sense, I don't act as though I have turrets. I don't have a problem dressing appropriately for work, not treating other employees I don't know like my best mate.. I'd prefer to just do my job and go home and act da fool!

Well when I am work I have to be PC and polite since I am the VP and I have to follow policies that I have created.

But outside of work I don't give a rats ass about what I wear I wear what I want on matter what, I say what ever is on my mind and I do whatever I feel like, I can act like a total fool and not care what others think. I am me if you don't like it then ya'll can fuck off. The ones that care don't matter and the one's that matter don't care! :)
