Most Uncomfortable Situation Ever

#42
I'm having a hard time even believing that you are serious. Did you just ask me if I've heard of breaking the ice? I don't know what kind of world you live in, but where I live people don't make obscene comments to perfect strangers as a way of breaking the ice. And I'm not even going to bother addressing your ridiculous assumptions about the kind of person I am based on a couple of online comments because that would make me sound almost as retarded as you.

If you still have doubts about your own stupidity, I recommend trying this:

If you have a job, go to your workplace and approach a girl that you don't know and have never spoken to and look her dead in the eye and ask her if she's shit her pants and what color her ass hair is. If she laughs and says "oh i see you're just breaking the ice here," then I will concede that you're right. If she acts at all embarrassed or offended like she inevitably will act, I win.

PS. You're a moron.

I see shit like that happen all the time and no one ever takes it as serious as you're taking it. If they do, we have a word for them: Douche. You don't have to respond to my comment on what kind of person you are, because I'm pretty positive I was right anyway. You're right, it was only a couple of online statements, but they were all pretty personal type of statements.

She didn't come out right away and ask you if you shit your pants. She told you that you have a spot on your ass and then continued to work off of that. If a girl were to say this shit to me that I never met at work, I would laugh my ass off. She was saying some pretty funny stuff, and no one I know would be prissy enough to take it as offensive. I girl asking a guy these questions is MUCH different than a guy asking a girl these questions.

I'm not trying to offend you man, so I'm sorry if that's what happened. It just seems like you get offended too easily. Also, the fact that you're taking personal shots also implies that you're insecure about yourself, which probably resulted from the aforementioned bullying. I would love to admit that I am in fact the moron, but since I attend one of the top 10 most prestigious public universities in the entire country and you've been working for 8 years in the "seafood" department, I don't think that statement is true.

So what? I attend one of the world's best computer schools and still there are moronic individuals there ;)
It was not nice using that "weapon" in this discussion.

I still thing you're wrong but the main point would be that it depends on person's character.
If you're rather outgoing and positive and have a lot of "kid" in you, you would joke back, somebody else might not find it as a joke, especially if "joker" had a dead serious expression on her face.

I think that someone acting like her has some kind of mental illness and still I think that she was not joking and IF she was, it was a really moronic way to start a chat.
She should know that it's an offending and risky way.
If I was the boss, I'd fire her.

I wouldn't have reported her, it wouldn't even cross my mind but that's just me. I would like to say though that if this was the most uncomfortable situation of your life you must not have been uncomfortable much.

i'm with Aron and Skittle in this...

Just ignore her, no need to get her fired, get over it... if she starts calling your dead mother a whore, then get her fired...but for saying that, who the hell cares...

I think that the vast majority of people would have reacted in the way that I did. I also think that the reason why a few people disagree with me is because seeing the actual event or having it happen to them personally is much different than reading about it on a website.

So for those of you who think I overreacted, just trust me that it was truly horrible. I'm also a very easygoing person and I am not easily offended at all so it's not like I'm a prude.

Keeping a straight face when telling a joke is key, of course she had a dead serious expression. Comedians might laugh a little after they say a joke but during it they aren't laughin after every word. Unless they're that Gallagher guy that smashed watermelons and shit, he sucked anyway though. Anyway what I'm sayin is your reasoning for her not acting in a joking manner cus of a serious face is stupid.

Before you get this chick fired you should ask her to join the board. Do that after you become a man and approach her about the situation and ask her if it was a joke and tell her you took it like a pussy and then say you made me uncomfortable then let her laugh at you for being a dumbass while you laugh at yourself at the same time. All which should have been done before you most likely ended her career at said workplace cus you felt uncomfortable cus of a wet spot on your ass. You even had a valid arguement for the wet spot and you still ducked out like a pussy. I'm beginning to think you are the asshole and not her cus you most likely got her fired, she could have needed the job to save her dying whatever for all you know. But no, you go tell cus you got a little squirmish at the seafood market.

"If you are irritated by every rub, how will you be polished?"

To be honest, I probably wouldn't have reacted your way, but I'm not saying what you did was wrong. We each have our own way of dealing with situations.

While some would get offended about the way she was talking. I wouldn't, I'd prob laugh cause I wouldn't believe she'd have the guts to tell me something like that.

For those saying he was wrong, he did what he felt was right. You can't blame the guy, and no offense. The workplace isn't your friend's house. Certain things shouldn't be discussed.

She must have been a pro actor then..
It's always easy to see if someone's joking.
I'm still convinced she wasn't joking and that she's just retarded.

^When I tell jokes sometimes people ask if I was being serious or not, like Ill call my sister fat and shell have to ask or something stupid like that you know. It's not even about being pro its just normal shit people do. She could very well have been crazy but I like to think she wasnt and was just being outgoing, in an odd manner, which makes it funnier

The fact is this was done at work. Some workplaces have this type of behavior but its something I've never seen done between two strangers. If two people know each other the jokes fly, I do it with my team mates if I feel comfortable enough to. I know my friends team call each other the crudest names in the English language and its cool because... THEY KNOW EACH OTHER, and well enough to know its just jokes.
If it made you uncomfortable you were right to report it.

I couldn't care less what you're beginning to think.

I couldn't care less if she needed the job for anything. You don't go around talking to strangers like that.

And you weren't there so you have no right to judge whether or not I acted appropriately.

i agree with you Euphanasia. you done the right thing, that kind of talk is when your in high school. not in the real world. theres other ways to joke around and have fun at work. you gotta joke with co-workers it makes the 8 hour day go by. but enough is enough one person can say or do something to offend a person.

that bitch sounds stupid talking about shitting yourself. and ass if your ass hair is red. then topping it off by staring at you.

she'll go find another job somewhere else. companies and businesses hire people like her a dime a dozen.

So why even make the thread in the first place. What'd you think no one would say something about it. You get angry too easily.
I thought I'd share the story because it's so shocking and pretty funny when you're not the one involved. I wanted to see some reactions but I didn't expect responses like yours.

It's funny, even if you are the one involved. It's not shocking in the least. You have to be the most sensitive motherfucker I've ever talked to.

Her- "Excuse me, you have a wet spot on your ass. Did you shit your pants?"

Euphanasia- "Well, you see, I saw you earlier and imagined what it would be like to spend time with you. That's when I started stabbing myself in the ass with the large nail I carry on a string around my neck. The punctures vent dark blood and the pain is overwhelming. It's better than taking it over weeks spent with you. I get it all over with at once."
