Talking Out of Context

Wtf!?

What is it with people who can't have a straight conversation? I see it everyday, people acting like they are shakespeare or someone. Like they gotta layer their words in their conversations with subltle meanings or references. Fucking keats and yeats!

It's like I will be at work, and I will be like in a business frame of mind. All the other people who I will be working with have some kind of personal agenda going on, like they are preoccupied with their ego or their God damn fucking hormones. Being a supervisor I feel like grabbing the nearest subordinate who is fucking up the work flow and screaming in their ear 'can't you see there is a fucking job to do you fucking idiot!'

I see it on here, and at home too. Is it some kind of game? Because it all seems down right illogical to me. I don't know how people can be lacking so much discipline and focus in such ordinary day-to-day tasks.

i know what u mean because i do it...everyone has different priorities, different agendas, and a whole lot of problems and i guess people really do care about themselves more then anyone else...thats the whole reason for it i think...but its still nothing personal....everyones worried about themselves.....number one problem is money i think, then family....then problems inside the family....even at work you'd think people would focus on what they are doing but really its the opposite..some people are just trying to get their work done so that they can go home and do the same thing over next day

thats just my view on it...its how i feel about it.....i don't like to work but hey you have to do what u have to do...and going to school/work is important...my mom always tells me to work hard....and thats what im going to do..work hard....even if in the end i don't get what i want...i think things would've been worse if didn't try at all....

its a good thing you can focus on one thing so well....concentration is really important when doing something so u can get it done quickly..but for me most of my time is taken over by procrastination.

Well i would suggest calming your horses there supervisor.

It's just McDonald. Let the teenagers flip burgers at their own pace and if their hormones act up and they have sex dont be a fucking prude and separate them. Just grab a camera and get in on the action.

I Don't Tolerate That Shit I Either Get Pissed Or I Ignore What The Fuck Theyre Saying. What About When They Stop Bringing Their Shit Up Out Right & Start Doing It Subtle Or On The Side Like I Give Two Fuck Or Supposed To Read In To It To Find Their True Feelings Whether Its A Personal Relationship Or Business Relationship I Don't Tolerate It. I Have Better Things To Get In To Then Sit Around Pay Attention To Clues Like You Said

And Rahim, you're right. When it comes down to it, people really only care about themselves.
yeah man....its true..but hey like i said..not always a bad thing....its natural....people worry too much about themselves and their problems but from time to time what we need to ask ourselves is what we have done for other people...not saying we should have to go out of our way but i do believe that charity begins at home..so rather then donating money to charities we should give our money to people in our household who really need it like our mothers and fathers and sisters and brothers and grandparents (but usually with grandparents its the other way around and they're giving us money)

and if its not money we're giving to them we can always give them something else...we can take care of them...take care of our parents when they are in their old age not throw them in some old folks home....thats acctually one of my fears in life...i dont want to grow up to be someone who throws his mother and father in an old folks home...i pray that never be like that.

Thats exactly what I'm talking about. The attitude of having your own priorities in order.

I wish people would stop with the secret agendas and focus on business. But most people seem more concerned with workplace banter, bitching and back-stabbing. It does no good for the morale of the workplace.

The reason I post this is because there were several (drunken-fuelled) altercations between staff members and management at a recent staff outing. This led to the head chef being suspended and walking out. Then I followed suit and walked out myself. And it all started with what I have talked about above.

I agree with this totally. At my last job, the environment was soo negative. No one wanted to be there, people were always bickering, arguing, whispering, gossiping, etc. Including mgmt. It made for a horrible work environment. I quit after a few months, I couldn't take that nonsense anymore. I spend too much time at work to have to hate waking up and going every day. I told mgmt about it when I left, explained that's probably why they have such a high turnover rate. According to one girl I know who still works there, now upper mgmt is getting involved and trying to stop all the nonsense, problem is they'd have to fire so many people to get ride of that environment that's now in place.

Thats the same as my last job syn. Why I didn't want to be there anymore. My current job is pretty cool though you get the odd people who still do that type of thing but the people I am close with are really cool and we all just have fun. Twisting words is fun if its for fun, but if people do it in every conversation in every mood it gets annoying.

People will get caught in the chains of their own games, hoist by their own petard, if they wanna play word games.

Maybe its just me. Maybe other people see that and go along with it and talk shit too.
