Just curious.

I was listening to B96 with Eddie and Jobo on my way to work this morning (I love their morning show) and they were talking about in Chicago, women in their twenties to early thirties, make more money than men, something like 7% more or so, in Chicago. And that Chicago is one of the few cities where women make more than men. Just wondering how that compares to us here.

So, at will. What do you do and how much (ballpark) do you make and are you a male or female.

I know Militant and Rukas are rich or damn close so they don't count :( SiGh doesn't count either as broke isn't an option, heehehhe.

for the record, I just barely make over $20,000 a year so making something like $15k-20k would be a good option 2. last year i made only $16k

i guess somewhere in between 15 and 20k would be accurate...

good idea for a thread, people should post their pay rates as well as minimum wage, gives you a better perspective on how "ballin" they actually are. considering min. wage has lots to do with cost of living.

already made a thread so most should know what i make 12.50, with min. wage at 6.25

edit: damnit, my shits not even on the poll!

40k+

I have my own company. I have quite a few female models working for me.

They put on underwear and wear them for an amount of time. Then we seal and package them up and sell them to various clients.

Most of our business goes to Japan.

it's the affirmative action except for females.. what with the whole glass ceiling thing they bring in the big-titted women to work with the big guys and eventually they move up..

i might have simplified it, but that;s what happens..

I know you said I don't count lol, but it's hard for me to answer this question even if I did, since it's all relative to what I've been doing in terms of when the last album release was, how many gigs/tours we're doing and sponsorships etc.

If I average it out over the last three years, it's looking about $50-$60k, but what you have to bear in mind is, in the most extreme of scenarios I might make nothing for a year, then sign a new deal and get a massive chunk of money at once.

If you throw in my wife's income as well though, it leaps up to $90k a year or so :D

Right now I make 37k a year, but that is just based on the standard 40 hrs a week. I am not salary though so I always make 20 to 25 hours of overtime in a pay period. So if you factor that in, it's like 45-50k. Regardless, there's never enough money if you ask me...

Eh...I live of student loans and bourseries. + something I make during the summer and my soccer coaching.

All adds up to like 6500$ per year. I only pay about 2000$ for school, the rest flies in shit.
