I dont think for a second Orlando killed Pac, he would have to be the dumbest mother fucker in the world to try to pull that one off. Lets see, have a VERY public fight with one of the worlds most famous people in a city with 1000's of witnesses on one of the most busy nights of the year and THEN shoot the man and try to get away with it? Orlando must have known he'd be the prime suspect. If he wanted to kill Pac, he'd have waited till everyone was back in LA, Pac wasnt hard to find.

I don't think Orlando could have cared less whether or not he'd be the prime suspect in a high profile murder case. The facts are simple: Orlando was a crip, a true gangster. He was assaulted and embarrassed in public. When you're involved in that kind of lifestyle, there are rules and codes of conduct. Orlando didn't give a fuck about the cops or whether or not they'd consider him a prime suspect. Nor did he care that he was assaulted by Tupac Shakur. When you're living that lifestyle and you get your ass beat down in public, you're going to retaliate with bullets. As soon as he left MGM, he gathered up some buddies, loaded their guns and went after Tupac and his entourage. Whether or not it was a planned drive-by from the get go or if they had originally intended to wait until Tupac and his entourage got to Club 662 is questionable. However, the fact that Orlando murdered Tupac is not.
Orlando was already suspected for murder before he shot Pac. I'm sure Orlando knew that he was already suspected for murder.
But I'm sure Orlando also realized that he was dealing with people who weren't going to talk to the cops. So getting away from the entourage and taking the car to a body shop was all that was necessary to destroy the evidence, unless the Death Row entourage saw him and snitched, which we all know would never happen.
And it's not like Orlando was laying low after that. He bragged to an undercover informant and other Compton Crips that he "whacked Makaveli."
The entourage knew it was the Crips the minute it happened. The police knew it was Orlando Anderson within weeks. But with nobody talking, there wasn't enough evidence to bring charges, which is what happened the previous time Anderson killed someone.
Pac had bodyguards flanking him when he wasn't in a car. Anderson would have had to shoot from close range, and he would have never gotten away.
