That gets rumoured every year. Michael Eavis has been trying to book him for years. I remember even back in 2005 when I first played Glastonbury, there was a list in one of the festival guides of which act people most wanted to see headline, and Prince was #1. Sadly, even though The Sun reported this today, it's still not true. I just spoke to one of my buddies on the inside....and it's not true - although, of course there is still time for that to change. But as of right now, he's not gonna be there next year.

I don't believe in talent anyway, I do but you've gotta have more than that. Talent alone will not make you successful and it will not bring you fame. There are plenty of people in the world with talent at their fingertips who never get recognized. And more and more celebrities are staying famous these days, irregardless of talent.
The important thing in life is courage, and a bit of luck, when it comes along, is always very helpful.

Prince is not the baddest person on this planet. That title probably belongs to some Marine who shot up 4 dozen of Japs on some godforsaken atoll sixty years ago, not to a small gentleman that sings songs in clothes that fit him just a little too tight to be not suspicious.

Prince is so bad ass, that he turned down Michael Jackson's offer to duet with him on the title track to the album "Bad" which is everybody knows, redefined just how epically bad ass one song, and album could be. Now that is bad ass.

Turning down an album appearance is not that "bad ass". Facing armed evil men and shooting them down with no sense of self preservation is bad ass. Going into a burning building and rescuing a fellow man is bad ass. Sacrificing your life for a loved one is bad ass.
Making songs is not bad ass.
Yes, Prince is an incredibly gifted musician and entertainer, but he is not Man's greatest accomplishment.
