WELL HELL-STUDIED THEM ON YOUR OWN, OR WHATEVER. YOU STILL STUDIED IT.

I can make music, act, be an activist & write poetry......why would I not be in the same bracket as Tupac? Because I'm not as good at it as him? Well, there's the same reason why Tupac isn't touching world renouned philosophers.

ANSWER THIS-WELL SINCE YOU SEEM SO "EDUCATED" OR "SELF-TAUGHT" tell me why 2pac isn't touching world renouned philosophers.
blablabla... fuck that talking.
stupid nonsense. to which philosophers are you refering to.
2pac is still one of the greatest. for the icon he was and the impact he had.

2pac's lyrics tell a story wiv sum of the finest detail sum authors couldnt descibe in a whole book, i personally aint that much into Big all though he does have a few good tracks but its mainly the collabs i like Notorious Thugs, Victory. i do personally think hes overated

Life is all about opinions, and my opinion is that pac is by far the greatest rapper of all time. Biggie is a great MC but over-rated and not in Pac's league in terms of material produced....

By the way - who the fuck is Eazy E compared to pac? He aint shit compared to him...

Good, thats one moron out.hope you have fun being an idiot for the rest of your life. :thumb:
Has anyone noticed that this dude is trying so hard to sound like Calcuo? And as for the mentally challenged thing. That is, infact, a retarded comment. It shows that you are trying so hard to be like Calcuo. But don't come out with some pathetic bullshit. And don't try and act all smart when you come out with stupid shit yourself ;)

As some guy in the beginning of this thread stated, Pac and B.I.G are considered to be 2 of the greatest ever because they had died at the peaks of their careers, and the public never saw them fall off.

Illmatic is arguably the best debut album ever, as well as one of the best hip-hop albums ever. If Nas died after that album everyone would of thought "what if...", which is what we do to Pac and B.I.G today.

quality not quanitity

I'm off topic right now, but I'll get back at Calcuchio and bigmack when I get time.

I DON'T WANT TO BE IN TOO MANY ARGUMENTS, BUT I THOUGHT I'D PUT MY SAY IN SINCE I'VE SHIFTED OFF TOPIC. QUALITY AND QUANTITY GO HAND IN HAND!! MOST IF NOT ALL QUALITY SONGS GET TIRING AFTER AWHILE, THIS IS WHY ITS IMPORTANT TO HAVE QUANTITY. GO TO BIGGIE'S FORUMS, THEY ARE CRYING FOR MORE BIGGIE MATERIAL AND ARE TIRED OF LISTENING TO THE SAME VERSES OVER AND OVER.

SECONDLY, IF EVERY RAPPER WAS TO DROP TWO ALBUMS AND LEAVE THE RAP GAME THEN ALMOST EVERY RAPPER WOULD BE CONSIDERED THE GREATEST MC. IMO, YOU NEED AT LEAST 6-7 ALBUMS BEFORE YOU MAKE THAT CLAIM. HELL, JAY-Z HAD 8 ALBUMS BEFORE HE WAS RECOGNIZED AT THE TOP OF NY. BIGGIE IS GREAT, BUT 2 ALBUMS ALONE CAN NOT HOLD HIM AT THE TOP 8 YEARS AFTER HE'S BEEN GONE. IMO, BIG WAS GREAT FOR HIS TIME BUT ANYONE STILL-STILL CLAIMING HE'S THE GREATEST IS PROBABLY A RIDAH.

No, quality & quantity are two distinct entities.

And the mark of a truly quality song is it's replay value, which tends to be never-ending.

Recognized by who?

As soon as Biggie died, people looked to Jay.

And if you don't think I'm right, start a thread in Street Hop. We'll find the opinion of the masses parallels mine.

Lmao, alright if Big Mack is trying to sound like him, then all the people agreeing with you are trying to sound like you. Sounds retarded doesn't it?

Big and Pac were both great rappers, both died at the top, so this is one of the reasons they are called the best rappers of all time.

I prefer other rappers to both of them however.

Ready 2 Die is lyricly better then any album pac put out, thats why...
Actually, Ready To Die is a very simple album lyrically (Life After Death was more lyrical, though RTD is the better album in general). 7 Day Theory was better lyrically, AND overall, then RTD.

Furthermore, I expect you not to reply. It is what people in this section seem to do when I rebut their posts - hide.

I'm a fan, he barely changed anything regarding my thinking. I've watched Ressurection several times, I have listened to all the man's albums multiple times & I have read/heard almost every interview he ever had.

Are you even black?

I don't hate anybody for everything or really anything they do, I just have a habit of clowning people in this section.

A request to see my picture because you want to see the "big man".....hmm, disturbing.

I'll just let you & your little friends continue to have your own little image of the "big man", the "cool guy" & "smart guy". I pity you, but admire me all you want.

You people are coming off like little kids, I can't even figure out what the fuck you're arguing over!

On the subject, everybody have their own opinion of who's the goat, just cuz YOU think so and so is that doesn't make it right! And more importantly it doesn't mean others are wrong, simple as that!

Illmatic is proly the peak of nas's talent; but if he had died right when illmatic drop it woulda been what ifs but nothin about One of the greats, he wasnt out there in the main yet. and just that 1 album? died when it realesed. he probably, would be more like a Big L.

i dont know if someone has mentioned this...probably has...not sure since i didnt read all 5 pages...

but if you read the interviews by rappers who came out in early 2000, rappers from late 90's or new rappers who just got in the industry....one of the most common question is "who inspired you to get in the industry" or "who influenced you the most" and most of them will say 2pac and a lot will also say biggie...

that just proves how much impact both guys had and how they influenced people

I think he reaches people who dont think about social issues, or even people who dont take education seriously. Obviously your not one of those people but I know for me coming out of High School the issues brought up in Pac's music and more so in his interviews, definately made me think. I can honestly say without being a Pac fan I probably wouldnt have read half the books I have or have certain points of view. He just made alot of sense to me.

I'm suprised this thread hasnt been shut down haha.
