What are your "quirks"?

I just thought of nother goiod one: I cant really stanjd being a nuisance to someone. Even if invited, and technically no bother, I still feel as if im bothering folks, so given the option, id always retreat home safe if possible. For the benefit of me and the other party. I do not lke being a guest.


Im guessing that qualifiesas quirk.

I hate wearing bracelets or anything on my hands/wrists. I don't like ppl touching my hands/palms or feet. Feels gross.

Anyways, I have one too. I can't stand people who mix their food in their plate.

Like my dad, he has, say we eat salad, mashed potatoes and steak.

He'll put salad in his plate, then he'll take mashed potatoes, put them over the salad. Then he'll take the salad with his fork and he wont care if it's going to be mixed with the mashed potatoes or mixed with steak.

I hate it when people do that. Respect the food people!

I think everyone has one or two. Something that they do that makes them weird or interesting... depending on the interpretation and by who. Or perhaps not something really done but just something that you need or like to be a certain way.

Take myself for instance... I have two really weird ones, lol.

For one, I hate hair. It disgusts me. I shave everywhere except for my eyebrows and the hair on my head. But I keep my eyebrows neatly waxed and I try to keep my hair in a style that keeps it from blowing everywhere. Loose hair is even worst. If i see loose hair or fur in the apartment I go on a cleaning binge until it's all gone

I also have this thing where if i'm eating something smooth or soft, it can't have anything hard or chunky in it or I can't eat it. I.E. if i'm eating ice cream I can't eat it if it has chunks of chocolate or chocolate chips in it. If i'm eating like a sauce such as spaghetti sauce and it has big chunks of tomato or onione... I won't be able to eat it.

There, those are my weird quirks... what are yours?

I was searching 4 mines, & there's only one:
When I feed my little girl & I put the spoon in her mouth, I can't prevent myself to not open my mouth at the same time.
It's like a reflex; Now, I forced myself to keep my mouth closed.

i don't share food either but i have a very simple rationalization for that.

eating food feels great in every way. moreso, if i'm entertaining myself by watching video or browsing a website on a computer while i eat, my mind is completely disconnected from the world. every little query like someone sticking their hand on my plate to grab a chip or something breaks my spiritual peace. now i only get to experience this peace a few times a day, where as the rest of the day my mind is full of stress and thoughts. i value these moments, no, i require these moments to feel complete. i am not giving that up for anybody, and at the very least some fag who just wants to feel a good taste in his mouth. it normally doesn't mean all that much to the person anyway.

i have to write down everything i need to do for the day or else i'll forget a good portion of it.

i'm never late for anything because i can't stand having to rush

i bite my nails a lot......it gets really bad when i'm drunk because i just don't care and bite off all the skin around my nails, too and then my fingers hurt for days and days

i have to shave right before i get in the shower

it has to be very quiet for me to fall asleep unless i'm drunk or exhausted

i'm right handed but i can't wear my watch on my left wrist

i also have to wear a watch whenever i leave the house because i can't stand not knowing what time it is
