Very Disturbing

#2
omg, i couldnt take that, i saw the first couple of shots, and i just couldnt stand it. To think thats what his parents wanted me doing, thank god i researched it. And saw pictures like that myself. Back then it was really disturbing to me, but now being 9 months pregnant. I really cant take looking at that. Makes me want to throw up.

good post though, makes people who really dont know the truth about abortion see the truth.

i shouldn't have watched that. i don't usually let myself get overly emotional over images but that was, theres no words i can use to describe what that was. abortion is wrong, it is murder. it cannot be justified in any way.

How can you even say that? I know fourteen-year old girls, fourteen, who got pregnant, do you really think they should've kept the babies? I got pregnant myself, I wasn't being careless it just happened, and I had an abortion. I think me being only 18, unable to eat and throwing up every morning (mind you, I was only 6 weeks pregnant when I had the abortion and I was already sick as a dog) when I had exams to study for so I could graduate from high-school justifies it very well.

It's so easy to judge when you've never been in that situation yourself. And no, I will not watch it.

I'm sowwy Helena and anyone else who watched it. I didn't realize how graphic it was going to be when I watched it...that's why I warned you guys.

I would never have an abortion but I think it's a personal choice that the person who has one has to deal with...I do not believe in partial birth abortions though...that is just...disgusting.

i watched it all. and even in the video they make it seem so wrong, if i got pregnant tomorrow, i'd most probably get aborted. for the simple fact that i'm not ready. in the end this is a personal choice.

Of course. I imagine it would be different offering an opinion on a hypothetical situation compared to actually having to make such a choice... nevertheless, opposition is a right as much as abortion is.

Hey artisticgurl - what do you think about the government's talk on RU486? I saw the Health Minister on the news (wingnut) likening it to 'backyard' abortions...

Im not sure what its all about, dont have TV at the moment but what I did see of it I didnt know why the Government was getting so involved, I heard today on the radio a minister, dont know who, said that if the drug became available Muslims would take over Australia.. Which is just wrong!
Anyway I see it as a personal decision, whether its a pill or by surgery the decision will be made. Just because its a pill or whatever I dont think will sway peoples judgement.

I havent paid too much attention but I think the issue is that the government wants to determine whether it should be allowed rather than a national health authority. The govt thinks they are better able to make that decision.

I saw some lady on the news updates then saying that we will abort ourselves to distinction or some shit. lol. I can understand if there was some serious concern over the drug itself, but it seems the govts real concern is that it will be overused and misused despite the fact it will only be issued and administered by professionals.

I have the same opinion as you, the gov should leave it to the people who's job it is to make these decisions. I get the feeling the gov is more concerned about religous beleifs rather than medical.

How can i say it? Easily! how do you know i've never been in that situation? why can't fourteen year olds who get pregnant keep their babies? how can you justufy murder? because that is what it is.
so you didn't like morning sickness and you had exams and you wanted to graduate so you got rid of your child? pretty selfish of you. plenty of people study whilst pregnant.

im sorry if this offends you but in my opinion abortion is murder. it is cruel and wrong. innocent lives are wasted because of selfishness.

do you really think a 14 y.o. kid who gets pregnant has the maturity to go through that? i dont think so. a 14 y.o. girl who has almost no life experience is not capable of handling a pregnancy. she just got in high school. it must probably be her first sex experiences and already pregnant. and think about the family, no family would be proud of their 14.y.o. girl being pregnant at that age. think of all the problems that might occur because of that pregancy.

think of all the problems that might occur because of the pregnancy?? so what's the solution? to murder the poor child?
i think of it this way, if i was 14 and i got pregnant. i would RATHER face a whole load of problems, i would rather my family disown me than me kill my child.
