Will be a full-fledged veggie soon. Just working out a diet (which Jokerman was very helpful with) and no more meat. It's for moral reasons.

Probably not. But it is something to consider. If you are gonna start cutting certain things out your diet, you need to get nutrients from elswhere.
You can get them from eating the right things. Mixture of fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains. There is nothing in meat that can not be gained from vegetables.

Chronic, I suggest you stop drinking milk as well, if you do. It's probably the worst thing you can put into your body.

I never really liked milk, except for in my tea, cereal or oatmeal. But after Jokerman pointed out how milkcows are treated I decided to give it up as well. I'm drinking soy milk now. I expected it to be some gross shit but it's actually quite tasty. It sort of tastes like rice pudding.

I'm not even close to being a health "freak" though but thanks for the advice :thumb:

Also, try different brands. They each have a slightly different taste. You'll find you like one better than the others. Also, coconut milk is good. It's usually sold in cans. I mix some coconut milk in the soy for a really great taste.

Then I slaughter a cow and call it a day.

I used to eat this soy spread instead of butter but then I realized that there was transfats in it, so had to stop eating that. I get an itchy throat from soy milk so can't drink that either. But I don't drink much milk and only organic when I do.

I find it funny that a lot of vegetarians take the high road and then conveniently forget that a lot of fruits and vegetables are sprayed with tons of nasty chemicals.

Enjoy your McMoral burger, wimps.

You can buy organic fruit and vegetables you know, locally grown sometimes, it's pesticide free etc.

You can also buy meat that isn't injected with hormones or treated badly, but of course that is ignored and the focus is all on the big factory meat houses.

i think it is immoral to eat the food from the earth, because you are stealing something from the earth. it is not yours to have

i think it is immoral that i am sitting on my chair because it is made of wood. a tree was cut down, which could have had animals nesting, and now they are homeless because of this chair.

i think it is immoral that i am typing this on the computer, because of my contribution to global warming.

i think it is immoral that i breathe. because when i breathe, i omit carbon dioxide, which is bad for global warming.
