How many of you are Vegetarians? Im considering going on a near Vegetarian diet, basically I am only eating white meat (chicken and seafood).

Im also only drinking water and 100% juice, no fake shit.

Not for religious reasons, just becoming a bit of a health nut.

Sure its bad for your health but wtf isnt? people who have been jogging their whole life just drop dead one day.

You wanna be able to push paris hilton out of your colon? cuz if you become famous thats where she is goig to creep to. Now if this "vegetarian" idea is a new idea for defensive purposes against Paris then yes do it.


In all seriousness, Seafood is very very fatty. If you want to eat healthier eat Fish (not seafood such as shrimp) and white chicken meat only.

But you can eat anything as long as you eat 5 portions a day and get your healthy vitamins on the side. Fuck what everyone else says.

I am a vegetarian, and much better for it. I feel a lot healthier but more-so, more spiritually in-tune. Another living creature should not suffer for my own selfish benefit.

Plus vegetables taste better anyway, especially when it comes to Indian food :thumb:

Water, juice and no meat is a great diet. Make sure you eat fruits and nuts though.

heres some tips on how to be healthier.
being vege wont make u healthier necessarily. im not vege but i hardly ever eat meat, just when i get the craving

eat foods like spinach, tomatoes, blueberries, raw nuts, healthy oils like olive oil, flaxseed and canola (but dont overheat in the frypan as it ruins the benefits), garlic, and drink lots of water, brocoli, whole grains, bran

check the ingredients in ur food and stay away from sugar (when u can, try to sweeten things with agave nectar, its low GI), enriched flour, bleached flour, any hydrogenated oil, and high fructose corn syrup.

eat fresh, organic produce, its better than food with preservatives, drink water, put a packet of emergen-c in it to get electrolytes, walk 30 minutes a day and lift weights, watch your sodium intake

substitute unhealthy foods with good alternatives. like if ur craving salty stuff, instead of eating a bag of chips, eat natural peanut butter like laura scudders traditional peanut butter on light rye crackers. its so good :D

i forgot to say, eating white meat isnt that much better for u because of all the hormones they inject in the chickens and the crap they feed them. its good for the protein but u could eat soy crisps and good protein bars for that

i may have to move there, i love the smell of beer. i was asking no more beer because ruk said something about only drinkin water and 100% juice or something along those lines.

Ill never give up my beer, but truth be told I dont drink beer that much. When I go out its Jager Red Bull or Vodka Red Bull. I only have beer at home maybe once or twice a week.

I meant I dont do soft drinks when Im thirsty just for the sake of it, I drink water. Beer is something you drink because you enjoy beer, not just because youre thirsty and it is on hand.

Militant, I dont eat fruit, thus I take vitamin supplements and drink plenty of fruit juice. Juicy or squishy fruits just make me gag.

In the Balkans, the veggies get burned infront of the whoe city.

But seriously I eat really healty food. A lot of green stuff, but a lot of fish and meat too.

My grandmother makes such great food... I didn't do any sports for about two years now and I didnt gain weight at all just by eating what she makes me.

Im still gonna enjoy a nice steak every now and then, but Im just gonna cut back on the meats in the day to day diet.

I could never totally give it up, like I said its not a religious choice, and I love a nice juicy steak every now and then.

It'll be easier for you coz its not something like against animal cruelty.. Just ur choice. But vegetarian doesnt automatically mean healthier.. If your havin those vitamins tho you should be right.

I was a vegetarian for 3 years but I got sick of having to be so picky with what I ate to get all the nutrition I needed and when I went to dinner it was always like "Oh no, I can't eat that".

I eat a mix now. I still really like vegetarian food but I feel much healthier now than I did back then.
