It's worth it in a way to me cause i've had nothing but problems with it. And I can't see that changing, lol. I'll pay an extra couple thousand for a car to get rid of this, lol.

Well, at least you understand and seem to be accepting the truth. I remember I had customers who couldn't comprehend why we'd have to put the car's principle toward the new car's sale price when they themselves had only paid maybe $5k on a $25k car. Idiots.

okay, linx- 3 questions for you to answer before we get you pointed to the right direction.

- the exact payoff on the car

- the year, miles, condition and equipment of your Mazda Millenia S

- the state you live in (different laws according to state)

^ But the guy doesn't care if he ends up losing money, he just really hates the car and wants to get rid of it.
Well, I have no idea what you're talking about and I called him to tell him about your post - my stepdad says that he's trying to put linx into the best position possible - he also says that you're a smartass.

This is what I'm talking about:
It's worth it in a way to me cause i've had nothing but problems with it. And I can't see that changing, lol. I'll pay an extra couple thousand for a car to get rid of this, lol.
He said it himself, he hates the car and wants to get rid of it. And he also understands that it *might* be at a loss (though this is unsure, since we have no idea about how much he owes on it, as all of the numbers I provided were arbitrary numbers just to explain things).
I called him to tell him about your post - my stepdad says that he's trying to put linx into the best position possible - he also says that you're a smartass.
How exactly am I a smartass in this thread? Linx is making a decision, and he said it himself that he doesn't want the car. As I said earlier, I explained that getting rid of it might not put him in the best financial situation since he may end up owing more money, but the choice he was leaning toward was getting rid of it. I was just helping him out rather than trying to talk him out of it. I don't see how that's being a smartass.
