I was thinking..

A couple of years ago, if someone, sort of out of the blue, made a thread pointing out several annoyances with other members that were minor, but still there, and went about doing so in a humorous fashion; this person would receive e-creds and acceptance.

I was thinking about doing one, and then I though, that could actually end up with me getting flamed to death.

What caused this? Evolution? Did we go emo? Are we all too emotional? Or are we just too damn close? Am I not allowed to pick on a little brother or yell ugly names to my older brother and then lock myself in the bathroom taunting him through the keyhole? Discuss.

I think you're right and you should do it. I don't have beef with anyone but it would be nice to feel like I can attack someone's comment if I truly disagree with it without feeling like I'm doing something wrong.

It really depends. Your annoyance has to be factual, and it has to be humorous. Also, you have to have at least a couple of members who feel the same way. For example, my annoyances with certain members like SiCc, SiGh, and Militant are shared with other members so I'm not the crazy one thinking I'm annoyed when I shouldn't be. So, I never felt like I got flamed for stating my opinion on them.

However, when I saw the title, I thought it was referring to the notion that lately, more members have been opening up about their state of life. Back then, it was just happy and humorous threads or a la militant self-indulging threads. Nobody would share the negative things in their life. Lately, we have seen more of that. I don't think it's emo, I think it's just that people realize that it's okay not to be happy all the time and OK to air it out. If you think less of a person because he/she's having a bad day or SAD (seasonal affective disorder) then, you're an asshole. This is a general statement, by the way, not directed towards you, Preach.

Making a thread like that, I would be going out on a limb. I don't like taking too many chances.

I wasn't talking about anyone in particular. When I made this thread I had a couple of things in mind but they're gone now.

If that's the only conclusion you can make from that post, I'm not surprised you dropped out of school.

and no, I don't want you telling us how you were emo and a gangster drug dealer but smarter than all the kids.
