Speaking of the pill...

#1
I changed birth control pills after I got pregnant with the old ones and in the first month I had no problem with the new ones. But now, in my second month I'm all sensitive (which I'm not at all usually) and I'm a complete bitch to everyone I love and accuse them of not caring about me etc.

I told my doctor about this, who btw is very reluctant of me changing it again why I don't know, and she said that it can be like that for the first three months and that it will go away.

Has this ever happened to any of you?

My friend is on that pill and the doc told her that she'll get like that and she has done. She gets really emotional as well, like when she argues with someone she'll burst out in tears for no reason :( lol

While we're talking about the pill...What kind of birth control do you guys use?

I'm tired of having irregular periods but the last b.c. I was on made my boobs grow huge and they hurt sooo bad that I had to wear a bra 24/7...

I'm going to the Dr some time this month for my annual check-up and I want to get put on b.c. but I'm afraid of the side-effects.

once your body is totally used ot it you wont be like that anymore
I dunno, I've been on the pill for a couple of years and I'm still a bitch, lol. Then again, I always was. Seriously though, I think it does cause mood swings - totally. My best friend noticed the same thing when she started on it. I should have mentioned to my doctor but I thought it was normal. The pill for all the good it does, it's a bastard of a thing.

Well im out of the running for this thread, But katrina do you mind me asking what happened with that pregnancy? If its something you dont want to answer feel free not too. I was just curious.

Kellie: I was on Desolett now I'm on Yasmin. It has nothing to do with the pills though, it's my own fault I got pregnant.

Amara: Please don't tell me I'm going to be like this forever :( I have always been a bitch too but I didn't cry like this lol.

shattered dreams: I had something called a "medical abortion" (don't know if that's the right translation) which appearantly they don't have everywhere in the world, someone told me they only have it in the UK, Sweden and France but I'm not sure. I got some pills which made the fetus stop developing and some more pills to stop the hormone production and then some Valium to stop the pain (because it was baaaad) and then I bled for like three weeks. I was only six weeks pregnant. It was still horrible, I mean I knew I wouldn't want to keep it but still you know... that would've been my baby.

^ oh okay, yeah ive heard of that, when i researched abortion, not quite sure if its still allowed in the states or not. Can i ask if you had to do it all over again would of you made the same decision? Sorry if i seem nosy, but when i found out i was pregnant people were trying to force us to have an abortion, and i researched it all and shit, and everyone said how they have all the regrets and how they feel guilty and shit.

Like i said if you dont want to answer, please know you really can tell me to shut up and that you dont want to answer. Or you can p.m me if you dont want the thread and everything going off topic. This is the last thing ill mention about it.

yeah when starting a new pill it can do this, they say to give your body 3 months to get usedx to it. if you still feel the same after the 3 months then go back to see your dr.

It's okay, I don't really mind discussing it. I would probably have made the same decision although if I'd get pregnant again I probably wouldn't have an abortion. I really don't see it as something someone does more than once in their life, it's very emotionally demanding. Even for me, who basically just had a bunch of pills, I was never sedated or anything, but then the bleeding, like imagine having your period for three weeks and knowing why you have it etc.
