Well there is stuff to do it's by ASU so the scene pops off at night. I guess I grew up here so to me its nothing special, NO is home to Marty Gras so i guess it just stands out more. You can always mingle with the snow birds since this is the time when they start to show up.

Your bf doesnt have a passport? It doesnt take that long to get one. Just wait it out a couple weeks and then you get to go somewhere nice instead. Or you could save your money for your UK trip next year :thumb:

Oh, I am. We're going to the UK next summer. Ireland, possibly Waterford, he has a friend who stays there and then somewhere in London. Not sure of all the details yet.

Menace, I didn't say I wanted to see something new I just wanted to relax, lol. Most vacations don't allow time to relax b/c you're to excited trying to see all the sights. :(

Found it on a map, it was difficult, lol. I've never heard of it before. Tell me more about this mystery island.
well, we got sun half a year (only 2 seasons) that make days more cool:D; there is mountains (center of island) & coolness, excursions, paragliding, & more, and on another hand, there is the beach & the lagoon with lots of activities, the sun & idleness.. there is also a volcano still in activity (eruption recently) and we got the most (or 2nd, don't remember) xpensive road on earth; also this island is a place esteemed 4 the lot of different communities which live in peace, and I know u'll luv our meat (neva found someone who said the contrary).... & u got me, the big deal :D (lol, kidding)

Yeah good, but why not consider something really really new like .... Vietnam or south africa, :D
Ummm I've no interest in visiting any parts of Asia other than India. Perhaps Japan if someone pays for it and I give me time off work. I wouldn't waste a vacation day to go to Japan though. No thanks. As for Africa, I'd rather visit west Africa... but not as a relaxing vacation. As a history lesson. I probably wouldn't do it until after I had kids so that it would be teaching myself and my children where some of our ancestors came from. I imagine it to be rather depressing. :(

But thanks for the advice anyway, lol.
