Hi,

It's travel time again. I always go places starting in November for some reason, lol.

Anyways... last year around the middle of November I was in Memphis, TN.

This year, I'm debating between the untampered beauty of the hot desert and the sultry sounds of Jazz and Blues in LA.

What do you guys think? I'm not going to "kick-it" I want to go somewhere and relax mostly.

I'm not trying to find somewhere to go to hook-up, drink, party, etc. Just see the sights of the natives, try new foods and relax. I really want to relax, lol.

What do you guys think?

Is it even a question, New Orleans for sure. Not just cus it's an amazing place, at this time it could be a pretty life changing experience. Think if you went walked around and saw all the neighborhoods not rebuilt yet, or talked to all the people who had to experience all of that. Maybe not ideal for a relaxing vacation but the life experience is worth it.

What's wrong with Scottsdale? I've heard it's really pretty there. My time share has a resort there. My aunt went a bit ago. I don't want to go to the same lame places over and over. And I want to go somewhere cheap as i'm saving for a major vacation next summer.

I can't come to Quebec, my boyfriend has no passport  :(

Do you work with a time share company?...

***goes to find the negative rep button.

What will you do in Scottsdale? Have you seen what they have to offer or is it just based on an impulse? I know from your original post you said you wanted just to relax so I hope you love 100+ degree weather. Have you ever though of camping? Hiking? Motorcycle trip? Have fun on whatever you do.

Me? No, not at all. I wish I did though, lol

Seems pretty, the resort has more to offer than the actual town itself. It's definitely an impulse thing, lol. Camping and hiking sound like the opposite of fun. I'd love to go on a motorcycle trip except I don't have a motorcycle, lol. I want to be pampered and not be buggered by tourists.

I wouldn't go to Snobsdale for a vacation, i live in Phoenix and Scottsdale is just the ritzy side of Phoenix. And the temp. isn't that hot any more it's cooled off, high 80's like. Its like you said the resort has more to offer that the city, its just higher class shopping the way i look at it like Beverly Hills, Scottsdale has stuff but i think NO has more of a history.

just my 2 cents....

Phoenix is the easiest city to navigate its just a grid. I repeat there is nothing to to in Scottsdale or phoenix for that matter do not waste your time go to NO and help build homes.
