i had your problem. its an issue of not having your soundcard syncd with the program


edit>>prefrences>>audio>>select your driver.


if not, make sure you create your mixer FIRST.

i had a look at some of those tutorials, and while some of them are good, this site doesn't teach you how to make beats. it teaches you how to mimic a beat. you get a video tutorial and a set of drums and that's not creating something, that's being instructed. i'd say learn what the different buttons and things in reason do and learn how to make beats yourself, that's what i did.

i found the site after i learned the basics of reason.

Still, as a starting producer, you might not know where to start. By mimicking styles of many different producers, you learn basic song structure, bars, hooks, etc.

Some people are visual learners.

after using fruity loops, i think every program i use is easy, if i read a little bit of the manual. I got a slow ass internet so i cant really upload songs to soundclick, 24.4 k, straight up.
