Going to the movies in a bit and after hearing the titles I told my friends it's best to see either No Country for Old Men or Cloverfield. I imagine NCFOM is the better movie but CF looks cool as fuck. Suggestions? I ONLY HAVE 45 MINUTES OMG

No country forold men was okay. It wasnt too impressive. It was different. Definitely had some cool moments. I'd go with Cloverfield

Thanks for the suggestions.

Made the decision to see Cloverfield since that movie probably wouldn't be that interesting to see at home while it wouldn't matter for NCFOM. I'm sorry roaches.

CF was pretty nice. I was expecting a little more but I wasn't disappointed in the end (except for the fact that it was pretty short). It's the simple "monster destroys a city" scenario but done right for a change. Not a great movie but good enough. It's nice to walk out of the cinema and not feel robbed.

EDIT: I had read on wikipedia that the way the movie was shot made some people puke. And yes! There was a seat covered in some kind of plastic and barricaded by those pole thingies with rope they use at the cinema (I'm tired). We kept hoping we'd hear someone puke during a silent part of the movie but no luck :(

^^
I was actually considering seeing that but I was with friends so I picked a movie that I thought we'd all enjoy. Otherwise they'd hate me :(

I prefer to see good movies at home anyway where I can relax more and get high to watch it.

I wasn't too crazy about the ending, but only because I've read the book and love Chigurh's speech at the end.

The film was so damn well-done, though. The tension was ridiculous.

The sound was impeccable.

Well, what I meant was, there's no reason to hate the ending just because it doesn't follow the conventional plot structure that most Hollywood films do.

^^ Some whore behind me in the movie theatre said -after Cloverfield ended- "Ahhh, this movie is fucking stupid, it should have ended with them getting away and be in love!!" to which my friend turned to her and said "You should've died with them."

She got mad.

Stupid people in movies annoy me.

Wow, someone who finally looks at it like I do. I hate when people expect every movie to be the next best thing and then they see it and come out disappointed. To me the movie wasn't great, but it was good enough for me.

LMAO. Tell your friend a random guy online said his comment was delightful. I'm sure that'll make his day.
