Dogs are dangerous.

@ Shadows: First article....rabies. lol. like dogs dont have that.
Second article: that's just smart. thats the cat getting back at the ol bitch cos she was not treating it right. you show me a dog that can kill it's owner with intelligence rather than brute force and lots of saliva.

^^certain breeds of dogs are yes like Rottweilers, Bull terriers and Alsatians. I wouldnt keep any of those dogs. too risky imo. Males dogs can turn just like that.

So then you're agreeing that cats are evil?

Sorry bro, Like Keco said, They have helped out more than any other animal.

If ya'll want to bring up different points of why cats are better than I will also bring reasons of why they are not.

Cats fuck up your furniture. Whether it be scratches or just all the damn hair they leave on them...which leads to Clothes too.

Cats get lazy and ignore you, even if you are a great pet owner.

Cats are less civilized in the wild than any wild Dog I have seen b/c they use strategy. There is a reason why there is hunting dogs.

Dogs shed too, that's why you brush pets - and if you want to talk about grooming, cats are always cleaning themselves.

I've seen dogs fuck up clothes, furniture, etc. They are more vicious in this matter. For cats, you just take a preventative measure like clipping its claws and getting a scratching post (yes, you have to teach them to use the scratching post)

Cats aren't lazy - they just know better than to be a slave of humans.

I have a cat that runs to me when I come home. He's always looking for an opportunity to get on my lap. He is always following me around for that extra loving. He can sense emotion in my voice and will come to investigate if I'm upset. He does this because him and I have had a strong bond ever since he came home with me. To him, I'm his parent.

I had a cat that died from Leukemia a few years ago and while he was sick, my female cat Maki was by his side all day, licking him. She knew something was wrong. Ume, the cat that passed on, also had a very strong bond with me but not so much because he was adopted later in life.

If you want to talk about how cats sense trouble - just google for stories about cats who saved their owners from a house fire by alerting them.

If you want to talk about wolf like characteristics that dogs have - just turn on Discovery channel and watch cheetahs hunt together. You might not find packs of domesticated cats hunting together but you can find plenty of cats that are fully capable of catching a prey on its own.

NEXT please!

Dogs shed, of course, even Snakes do. But thats not the point, Cats shed a hell lot more.

Saying cats aren't lazy but know better not to go to their pet owners is just a sorry statement. It gives no evidence of them not being lazy, it just proves my point.

Sorry to hear about your cat, but dogs feel bad just when you are crying and do anything to cheer u up. They constantly study you to make your life better.

They can get you beers, cats cant.

Surely as someone who has owned a shit load of cats and dogs over the years, i should know which animal is a better pet.I dont hate cats but give me a dog any day. I reckon most of the cat lovers here only ever owned a cat or only ever had a mongrel of a dog.

See S14, i know which animal fucks up the house more if they are inside. Its is always the cat thats shits in the house, never the dog and she is in the house more.

I have seen my cats hunt and kill birds and animals numerous times. Its not very nice when the cats show up in the back garden with baby rabbits in their mouths, screaming. You try everything to get the rabbit free but the fuckers just wont let go and then run off and eat the baby rabbits. or when they grab small birds that are nesting on your conservatory roof and rip them to shreds. or when they jump in your bedroom window with a dead mouse in their mouth.

I've had many dogs over the years, we used to get them from the rescue shelter. One attacked me once, I have a nice fat scar on my face now, chicks love it. But I never had a cat until last year. I fucking love my cat, he is 22 years old yet he behaves like he is about 6, he climbs fences and trees and shit, goes out and hunts birds and brings them home. He even wakes me up in the morning like an alarm clock by licking/nudging my hand or face.

That's just a fucking ignorant post, and it's even more sad you're taking this seriously.
