Mastering (please read)

i use the term mastering to refer to the tuning process that includses the devices i use to affect my entire mix. i guess i'm not using it 100% right, but i never made a cd, so normalizing sound levels on several tracks and setting track markers is not something i've had do.

problem on this board is, when you say "mix," people think mixing acapellas and instrumentals together, not audio tracks. basically, you have to say "master" for everyone to understand what you mean, or you'll have to specify that by mix you mean mix as in mixing engineer terms.
