it's kinda funny how Mafia keeps talking like Seventy2Ounces has learned his lesson and won't do it again, but since he continues to protest the fact that alcohol had anyting to do with it, it seems to me he has learned nothing. hopefully next time he doesn't kill anyone either.
Mafia, it's not about being on the "righteous bandwagon" as you put it. but the way this guy put it on here it almost seemed like he was looking for sympathy, for everyone to say, "that's too bad, hope you're ok" when it's basically his own fault. you're not gonna find too much sympathy for someone who risks his life and others by doing something stupid.
but lets take him on his word that he wasn't drunk, that the 3 beers he had had no effect on his driving. well now he has to pay out of his own pocket to get his car fixed, when if he hadn't been drinking, his insurance would have covered it. so the alcohol isn't exactly irrelevant, now is it? yet another good reason not to drink and drive: if you get into an accident, insurance will cover it if you're sober.
