But anyone got any good suggestions for a house phone... A base and two or three units....

I've got a Panasonic KX-TCD320. Really good and reliable phone with one of the best battery lifes.

It also has all the futures that cordless house phone can have.

Only high-end Siemens phones are as good.

I have these

They work really well, get great distance, no static, no interference and they're pretty nice to look at without being over the top. I don't need a custom ringtone/picture pop up/color screen on my home phone. But that's just me.
