holy shit!! im about to give birth soon!

Well, i had my 34 week Apt at the doctor today, and last week when i was at the hospital i was not dialated at all nor effaced (cervix thinning out). Thats when i had my contractions stopped. Well a week exactly was today, i went the doctor, he said im 2 cm dialated and 50% effaced. He said that i very might well deliver within the next week! But he said im deffinetly not making it to my due date feb. 19th. He said he doubts ill make it to febuary. He said i have an 85% chance of delivering within the next two weeks. She will be a preemie. But she should only be in the hospital for a couple of weeks at the most, they did an ultrasound picture, and she is 5 lbs 6oz. But the u/s can be off.
The resaon why the doctor thinks that ill be early is because dialating that much in a week is not common for first time moms. But he said i can stay this much dialated for a while. thats why he is not saying for sure. But he told me make sure everything is ready.

And depending on what happens, and how well she is when she comes home, ill for sure be posting on this board a lot less. Im just scared of giving birth soon, and her staying in the hospital a few weeks, because of she is so preemie. And we are working on getting my boyfriend out here.

Not only that, here is some more good news, i dont know if you all know about the fact that he was never allowed out here because his parents really didnt like me. Well his dad has really come around along with his mom, his dad is being really cool. Me and my mom might have to pay for his plane ticket out here, but other than that, i should be seeing him within the next two weeks. Its been three months since i saw him. Im so excited my two loves will be with me soon!!

Awww I'm excited for ya girl! But no worries, she won't be much of a preemie, they prolly won't keep her in the hospital more than a couple days depending on her weight. My lil girl was early. She was due on Sept 14 and she was born on Aug 20. She weighed 6 lbs 4 oz and she went home the same day I did, the day after she was born. My second son was about 3 weeks early too and he weighed 5 lbs 10 oz and he went home with me the day after he was born too so she'll prolly be the same.
But anyways, good luck and keep us posted. And we want pics when she makes her appearance in this world!

No fear girlie, she'll be fine. Anything over 5 lbs won't keep her in the hospital long, if at all. As long as all her organs are developed, she'll go home right along with you. :thumb:

good news ^ i have a question for you, before you gave birth, besides contractions, did your body act up at all? today ive been feeling sick to my stomach i feel like i got to throw up, and i get hot real easy. and just to let you know, i didnt get sick during this whole pregnancy (morning sickness) but today ive been gagging the whole time. Also had a few sharp pains, not contractions but sharp pains.
Could this be a sign im about to go into labor soon?
