finding clothes that fit

K...I dunno if other girls have this problem but I have a huge problem finding jeans that fit right.

First of all I got a little waist and big hips so if I buy clothes to fit my waist it's tight on my butt...and if I buy it to fit my hips it's fallin off my waist.

Then I have long legs so if I buy it long enough to fit my legs it's too loose in the waist...and if it fits my waist it's coming up short on my legs....You get the idea.

So...ladies...do you have this problem...and what brand of jeans do you wear???

I have a similar but opposite situation. Because i'm so short, i have trouble finding jeans that fit, that I don't have to tuck or roll or cuff. :(

Then I have a small waist but I have "junk in my trunk" lol, so I only need like a size 26, but I end up in about a 28 to make room, then the waist looks stupid and kind of sticks out, so I have to wear a belt all the time :(

Express jeans work really well for me, they hug right and they aren't loose in the waist.

I know Akademics, there pants are usually really long, so that might help you.

I'm short so most jeans are usually too long for me lol and I have a rather large arse so that kinda makes it hard as well lol. My hips are kinda big but I always wear my jeans or whatever at my hips so I don't have the problem you have, with the waist thing.

I guess you just have to look hard to find a good brand that fits how you like and just stick to that brand I guess.

I'll usually buy any brand of jeans tho, whatever I find that's nice and isn't too long and fits good them I'm good :)

Yea I love Akademics, they are sooo cute. I have to wear a belt all the time too. I usually end up finding some that are cute and fit and I gotta buy like 3 pair...but then it looks like I'm wearing the same thing everyday...lol

Most of my jeans fit me pretty good, I also have long legs, but its not a problem for me. Theres some pants that are made for longer legs, they have and L next to the size or a P for pettite. Its just a matter of searching and having patience to look for clothes lol. The one problem I do have is that most my pants have funny back pockets so the make my butt look small, even though its not, but its not huge either lol.

Ecko Red pants have the long leg so watch out for those.

Yeah, I hate it :(

But with alot of the jeans, they'll be the same design but with a slightly different color, like some will be faded lighter than others and some will have different color linings. So i try to get the same jeans in every variation.

I.E. This is how I shop (and i actually own all three, lol)

Yeah sometimes I also have trouble finding jeans that fit me. When I was little I was really tall for my age, so almost all jeans were too short for me. Luckily I don't have that problem any more, but I have a small waist and big hips, so my main problem is that I think that I look fat in some kinds of jeans. :( So I always wear flared jeans, they make me look smaller, or that's I like to believe :p

And most times I wear a belt like the ones in syn's pics, they look great!

those are really nice, not sure about the baby phat on the tuck bit. Kinda tucked over too long. Still really nice tho, the green and the pink = :thumb: :thumb:

Haha, yeah jeans are difficult for me. Short legs, smaller waist than butt. I find brand name jeans suck and besides we have shit brands here anyway. lol. I find that jeans with stretchy material as opposed to the traditional jean material tends to sold the problem for me. I dont know about everyone else but my taste in jeans changes all the time, so I have several different pairs - a dark pair, a light pair, a pair for flat shoes, a pair for high heels. Having a body that isnt straight up and down but instead curvy means I have to be fussy with jeans, I cant wear just any pair.

On a side note, I love the baby phat logo. That cat is so cute. (Another brand that is hard to find here...). And that model at least has a bit of meat on her, she isnt a stick like the models we see on our ads.
