f***ing chauvanists!

There is absolutely nothing that pisses me off more than the attitudes of men who believe they hold some kind of authority over women. I see examples of it everyday and you even see it on here.

I dont get it, I really dont. These people who born of a woman, grow up with women - who the hell do they think they are telling us we are not of equal worth. And damn it especially when people label me a feminist for saying something like that - as if to believe that women have value and deserve respect deems me a "radical" whose opinions can be brushed off as crazy or whatever.

Then there are those toads (Tina knows the kind, haha) who go around saying shit like, slap tha disrespectful hoe...bla bla bla. Bitch. Whore. Women are evil. Whilst I know some people see the difference between a "woman" and a "whore" I still hate it when people make judgments about all women. They're all the same, they all want this, they all act like that - bullshit. We're all different. We may be somewhat complicated but that doesnt make us all evil whores!

And joking or not, this whole "a woman's place is in the kitchen" is bullshit. I'm not gonna waste my life cleaning up the filth of a lazy man. I'm going somewhere with my life and will reach heights that these narrow minded fools can only dream of. AAARGH damn chauvanists. Hate them. Had to vent!

I know what you mean, it's incredible that after all this time there are still medieval men who treat us like inferior beings. And we are supposed to be in the 21st century.

You see that in many places, for example, in clubs. I see some guys that behave like they were "hunting" girls, so that they can comeback with a trophy to show their friends how smart and virile they are. And the girl is just an object, they don't care what she's thinking about, if she has any feelings, etc. The problem is that too many girls accept that, reinforcing men's beliefs, and that pisses me off even more than chauvinists.

But sincerely, I don't care about it too much. I know what I want to do with my life, and it's not to be a guy's mother. But on the other hand, I can't stand that some people still think women and men aren't equal, and it would drive me crazy if someone meets me and thinks I'm "just another whore". Anyways, I can prove I'm not like that and if they can't realise it, I won't lose my time with them.
F*** chauvinists!

I don't have a problem with it, I'll go along with it. As long as they're joking as well.

I wouldn't mind looking after my husband, but I wouldn't be his slave. I could happily be a house wife.

Preach it sister!
This is exactly why I asked bigmack wtf he was talking about. I mean, where the hell are these people from? What have their parents been teaching them or did they just come up with these caveman ideas on their own? Seriously, what the hell makes them think that a woman's place is in the kitchen in this day and age? This is why I am so glad I'm not with my kids' dad anymore. Not only did he not work half the time we were together but then I was also expected to take care of the kids, clean the house, do the laundry, and cook for him on top of working 6 days a week. This while he was sitting on his ass or running around with friends all day. Then when I finally stand up and say something about it, his response is that I don't know how to be a wife. WTF? We don't live in the 50's anymore where women did exactly as their husbands said, didn't work, and kept house all day. These days us women work hard just like men do and deserve the same respect they do.
Like I said before, that's why I probably won't ever get married. I like having my independence. I go wherever and whenever I feel like it and don't have anybody to answer to and that's just the way I like it. I'll be damned if I'll ever let a man run me.

Yeah, it is sexual arrogance really. It is sad that woman let themselves be treated like this. I dont know how such low self esteem could develop to a point where a woman would let herself belief she is nothing but a mere object... :(

See, so could I. It would be nice and is perhaps even part of natural instincts to want to take care of the people we love... the thing that shits me though is that this is looked down upon, it is not given equal weighting. I could happily take on the role of a stay at home mother if it werent for the fact that governments and society value public employment over domestic duties to the point where I feel like my life and my talents would be wasted if I were not to pursue a professional career. I cant help but want to rebel against a task that would leave me unappreciate and shown a lack of respect. Well anyway, when I get into politics that will be on my agenda - a mass social movement designed to give housewives the respect and financial consideration they deserve, (now I'll get off my liberal high horse and fall back to reality! haha).

This is exactly the kind of man I cant stand, lol. They make me so angry. They are cavemen. I give props to you for finding independence from a turd like that! See in my family, my dad was authoritative but never gave the impression of there being a woman's place. Both my parents work (mum returned full time when I was 4 or 5) and both shared the house duties, there isnt even 'male chores' and 'female chores' instead there are just 'chores' and we all got off our asses and did them... which was damn harsh but damn good in retrospect. I like the way they do things, and it has perhaps led me to be a bit commanding in my approach to equality, but hey, at least I know what the word means!

hehe and you think your called radical now? Just wait... :p
My brother pretends to be extra chauvanistic, its more of a joke and to razz up the girls than to really mean anything by it. But the ones that actually beleive that a woman is weak I can only laugh at.
I dont mind the whole wife takes care of husband scenario depending on the attitude of the man, I've had examples in my life where this situation has worked really well because of the love and respect involved. But when the respect isnt there aswell its unable to work.
Is'nt it great being able to talk about this without the chauvanistic male putting his opinion in

I hate the fact that men get paid more than women for the same job!!! That happens over here in the UK. does it happen in other countries too?
