Dumb question about self-tanners.....

Heya amigos, I was thinking bout getting a tan but i dont wana go to a tanning booth cuz thats like worse then the sun and i dont wana lay in the sun cuz thats gona give me wrinkles and thats gona make me even more paranoid then I already am lol so I just thought i should get a tan with the tanning lotions out there! I got this keihls self tanning lotion thingy for like face and body and i was wondering..........................

is it okay to use the lotion on my boobs n all the other 'areas' or will something bad happen if i use it on them?? N im sorry for asking such a dumb question!! It was just hecka bothering me n i had to get it outa my system sowwie!!

Yeah of course you can use it on your boobs. As for "other areas" .... I'm using my imagination to work out what you mean but I cant think why you'd want to use tanning lotion there.. lol. I wouldnt have thought you'd need any of that stuff though, you have a beautiful skin tone as it is.

^ i agree with amara, you dont need a tan, your skin color (at least in pictures) looks like a natural tan. And other areas, as far as that i wouldnt use it there because of the fact, most of the tanning lotions (from what ive seen) says external use only, and if you use it there, theres a chance it can actually go inside of you (get what i mean) I dont know if i were you i wouldnt risk it. but i could be wrong, i dont tan nor get fake tans im a red head with fair skin and freckles.

N yeah i was talking bout that place....but i see its a bad idea so im not gonna use it there, and i like my skin tone too but I just wana see how its gonna look darker lol thats all!

I put fake tan on my bf and it just rubbed in couldn't tell he had it on lol (if you've seen the pics of him he's got dark skin)

I've got the moisturising lotion that has the tint stuff in it, worked on me. But I'm white lol

didn't work that well on my legs though, does your's work good on your legs?

yeah the dove one does, it just takes a bit longer, that johnsons one made me look like i'd been swimming with teabags!

:laugh: @ this thread ... Girls talkin bout beauty products.. could go on forever. I've never used a self tanning lotion, someone I know used to and she'd be all red and her hands would be worst of all I guess it put me off

^ sure it would. Usually the problem is that they work too well... lol - give you more of a tan than you hoped for.

^oh and i'm scared of the orange effects of those self tanners.. it happened on one of my friends. since then, cant trust them.
