Ladies, help.

Okay, I like this one guy....problem is...he's not a citizen here. He's here on a Student Visa and it expires next year. But he's f'n hot!!!! LOL, he's a sweetheart too, that's my buddy, we have so much fun together all the time.

I don't want to talk to him and we can't get anywhere. Plus, he's my friend, i'm already going to be sad that he's leaving me as a a friend, but i'll be even more upset if he leaves me as a boyfriend. What am I to do??? Not only that, but his parents have made it quite clear that they don't like me. Well, not so much that they don't like me as a person per say, they just want Nader with a girl who's Muslim. I'm real open minded, so it's not a problem on my end. Apparently though, it's a problem on their end. And my parents aren't perfect either, my mom is cool, but my dad. . .let's just say he's an EX USA Marine, and he believes the hype.

None of that is the problem though, the problem is...his getting kicked out the country next year...what am I to do???

My baby Nader. . .

Nader and his sister

Yes, i'm responsible for those braids, lol

Grrrrrr :fury: What is a girl to do?????

LMAO :)

Yeah, his parents know that, but they'd "prefer" for him to be with a girl of Muslim faith, which isn't me... I understand where they're coming from, but like I said, that's not the problem. LOL

Problem is Bush is not going to let my buddy stay in the states after June 2007 and that would leave us where??

I guess I could let him "borrow" my newly acquired citizenship, lol, but I mean, in a year, more than likely it would be kind of serious by then, and I wouldn't want to feel pressured into anything like marriage or something, simply so he can stay in the states, then again, I don't want him moving back to the Middle East and leaving me. . . *sad*

that is one hot guy. try to find a way to make him stay. but most of all, dont lose an occasion to enjoy the time being with him and if you think you'd enjoy it even more if he was your bf, then make it so. i think you try to make the most out of your relationship with him, at least you'll have great moments with him that you'll never forget.

It's not that he doesn't want to stay. He isn't a US citizen, his country sponsored him for a Visa so he can go to Uni in the states and his Visa expires in June of 07. Since we're good friends, i'm sure we'd do good as a couple, but we wouldn't get anywhere because he'd have to leave me and move back to the Middle East and then what? I'll tell you what, nothing

Make the most of it while it lasts. I wouldnt get too caught up in time or religious constraints because even without them the likelihood of the relationship lasting is uncertain (I mean thats just how it is when you are young)... so to hell with too much "thinking" - blow caution to the wind and instead make the most of him while you can.

Nah, I don't think i'm going to persue a relationship. I love this kid to death as a friend, and it would kill me to lose him as a boyfriend even more so than it's going to hurt me to lose him as a friend. If he can somehow come back to the states after he leaves or I don't know, some kind of miracle, maybe then something can happen. :(

i think you're losing a great opportunity to have an awesome time with this guy. what tells you that if you go out with him now that in a year you guys will not end up breaking up? make the most out of it. ENJOY.
