^ that looks nice, but i think MPD24 will be much betta it has more sound banks, assignable controls, but on a plus it has the X-Y pad i have a korg kaoss pad on my mixer and thats dope so i figure it might be about the same, but if i had the choice MPD24 :thumb:

yeah, plus with the endless knobs, mpc2500 pads (full size), 4 banks of pads (for 64 samples all up) and the level features (for example: you assign one sample to all the pads, and they will increase in whatever modulator you want [like pitch] as the pads go up, just like a real mpc) this might very well be a padkontrol killer...
who needs x-y? for hip-hop i think the mpd24 will be king.

but- i wish they had incorporated a 'flam' thing for easy snare rolls (the padkontrol has it) but that limitation can be circumvented...

wat does that "flam" do its in Reason.. .?

activate the little flam button and then click in your hits... it just triggers the sample again, slightly after the first time.
move the flam knob to change the interval...
you can use it for hi-hat patterns (crunk..) and stuff, it breaks the 1/16th limitation basically
