Everyone keep R in your prayers as he and his family go through this difficult time.....

Diron Rivers Jr. died from what seems to have been heart failure after returning to his dorm room after playing basketball.... He was diagnosed with a heart murmur at 16..... He was a month away from his 21st birthday......

Pray for his family

I've had a heart murmur since birth, shit sucks, mine isnt that serious but some people really have to watch their blood pressure, especially during physical activity. Horrible to hear about.

What kind of complications do you get with it?

There have been a lot similar cases to this. Young men dying suddenly after exercise.

RIP
yeah there are alot of these things that have happened..... DO you guys remember a basketball player named Hank Geathers, i think he had the same heart condition, and actually died during a game..... He could have been one of the greatest ever, played for a small college named Loyola Maramont (sp) i think..... Its tragic how playing a game that you love can potentially kill you.... scary

^^a few very well known soccer players died suddenly like this in the last few years. Marc Vivien Foe, Miklos Feher and Antonio Puerta all died suddenly. The latter two died on the pitch. A well known gaelic football player died in similar circumstance over here a few years back as well.

Like i said my situation isnt that serious but on occasion ill get bad chest pain shortness of breath shit like that. The worst is the pressure on your chest, feels like you're being stoned or something. It's only happened a couple of times to me though.
