how to build good credit?

Just light the wasp nest on fire, and they'll never come back. I've taken out hornet/bee/ wasp nests in many ways. Throw raw apples and pears at their nest, paintball the nest, hose the nest, or just use this thing that comes in a can and has quite a shooting distance and it kills wasps from like...20 feet away. Of course running isn't my fav. thing, so I leaned out the bottom window and just shot it straight upwards and it still did the job. Dead wasps with their legs in the air on the deck the next morning.

what's the point of being able to have credit and not using it, just wondering. As soon as I get my drivers licence I'm phoning my bank, or be making other credit arrangements such as finance. I will probably take the finance option when buying myself a new motor, my instinct tells me that a small company will give me a better interest rate than my bank. rather than taking a loan out and using it to buy a new ride. I wouldn't use my credit card for this purpose.

It's pretty hard to get a mortgage or a car loan if you have no credit history to begin with unless you make A LOT of money. And the best way to get credit history is to get a card, obviously mortgages and car loans build good credit, but at 18, 19, 20 you are never going to get a mortgage..

You can get an apartment with no credit. 741 is excellent credit actually.

Credit cards are horriable, terriable interest rates for one, secondly almost every youngin that gets one abuses it, thats why they give you one because the numbers show that kids are impulsive.

Well I know some landlords that do check credit bureau before actually renting it to the person. And it's not everybody that will want to move out to build credit either.

Obviously credit cards have high interest rates and are easy to abuse and go over limit, but if you are smart, you'll build up good credit. Believe me I close so many visas of people my age (I'm 20 if people don't know) and it's pathetic and very sad.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. By the time you're my age you will have a lot built up and a high score if you don't fuck it up. My credit is A+.

I have called my bank on a couple of occasions to reduce the credit limit on my credit card, it scared me having that much credit. Then I get a letter six months later stating your credit has been reviewed and my number is bigger ... wtf?

-Learn not to abuse of it
or
-Call your bank and get your credit limit decreased again
