Ever feel like...

Of course... as part of a plea bargin.

But seriously, I think everyone really wants to do that at one point, I know I do. For me to do it, I'd really have to see people with my own eyes living in the worst conditions possible. That would motivate me more than anything.

the only problem is that your living in a 1st world country, you will never see how bad it is. If you are going to do anything in your life just visit a 3rd world country preferably Africa...anywhere here.

i'm too selfish. in the end, it boils down to the fact that i have nothing to motivate myself through such a thing. one thing i could be interested in is working with animals, but i don't think i'll be doing charity work for the years to come.

Congrats, really.

You have a point, and I agree with you but unless Angelina Jolie wisks me away, I probably won't.
nah, i don't want to sound more arrogant than im coming across. Even i haven't seen the worst of the worst. Im sitting on what would have been the bread basket of the continent. However, i don't know what it is, but you just realise how grateful, and how blessed you are...without the bible punching shit. It hits you, that you definitely have a purpose in life..

Any of ya'll had that feeling?:

I know what you are trying to say Zimmy and unfortunately many take what they have for granted and don't realize what they have is a huge blessing.

However, lifestyles have become so busy and so hectic it is hard to go out of your own way to try to help a cause other than your own.

For me the reason for not doing anything is because i believe most charities address the symptoms of a problem rather than the problem itself and no matter how much you try to help you'll end up back at square one.

Sorry man, could you explain again. What do you mean address the symptoms but not the problem.

^Let's take nations where there are people that are starving. Usually charities give them food and clothing and whatever they can. but that doesn't help them in the long run. What they need to do is help them build farms or other means for them to provide for themselves.

That's what i mean. Anyway thats not a detailed explaination but i gotta leave right now. I'll try to add some more later.

Good to hear from you again man. Post some pictures of zimbabwe later when you can.

Be safe.
