Fucking vowels!

I am major bored, really. I have been doing the crossword. I don't know why, because they piss me off more than they satisfy me.

Why isn't Y a vowel? It should be. It is the exception to the rule that 'all words have vowels'. Words like why, wry, rhythm, cry, by, sky, crypt, nymph - don't have fucking vowels. Finding vowels to words makes a puzzle easier to complete. I think they put them type of words in crosswords to make it harder. It pisses me off.

Who says that all words have vowels?
Words need vowels. It is common. Like the common rule 'I before E except after C'. If a word doesn't have a vowel then it has Y instead. Words I expect to hear should include and go through the whole vowel spectrum. I don't want to hear Y all the time, I won't be the one complaining either. Y is Y, it is not a vowel, it is a con-so-nant.

If words need vowels, and every word without a vowel has a y, why isn't y a vowel?

That is what I am saying, as a side note.

Y oh why isn't Y a vowel, Y?

Maybe it is to do with numbers. There are five vowels in the English language. If there was six, six is the devils number. Our grammar would be corrupt with this association with there being 6 vowels. Something is not right. The question of Y must be the devils influence on the alphabet. Y incorporates double-standards with regards to grammatical integrity.
