getting outbid on a cd by a dollar is nothing compared to being outbid on a cd by 6p (that's 6 pence)!!

all because i came home late from a hard day's work at college!
what cd was it?

but man..nothing brings you down like losing a 2Pac cd..i gotta have doubles/triples of everything....atleast doubles...1 to have for my collection, and the other play in my car

alright then. Lloyd Banks it is...and not that there's anything wrong with him or gunit or any of them..cuz they are talented in their own ways...and if i ever worked with them..hell yeah i would make some good shit but my expectations are too high. when you listen to the best music (2Pac), you want to make everyone else sound like that guy and you pick up qualities from other rappers that you liked from the rapper that's 'the best' and you try to turn everyone else into that best rapper. i think that's a good vision.

What other music do you listen to Rahim?
80's music..alot of 80's music...anything really....i don't like rap that much believe it or not..when i listen to other rappers i look for the same potential that pac had...and if theres qualities i like in that rapper then hell yeah i would luv to work with them..

but i like deathrow shit as well...

i like rock....pop.....i like 90's music too ofcourse.....i like a bunch of songs from different artists..

i like songs that could sound like 2Pac songs lol...thats what i look for..songs that could sound like pac songs...

like that song Sara Smile by Hall and Oates...that song sounds like a never had a friend like me type track...johnny j probably produced pacs version for him for "Sarah's Smile"

i don't like all mainstream music that much...i like the expensive beats that tupac liked....i would just like to flip them around...anything that sounds expensive and good..flip it around like jonny j did..and give that to the outlawz man...outlawz need the expensive beats...they need to get their old flows back too....gunit and them wouldnt be here if they kept that same rap style and expensive beats

thats what we need....we need that old style back from them.....even back from the dramacydal days

Can you be a bit more specific? 80s music is pretty much ... everything ever released in the 1980s :?
any song that pac sampled in the 80's or even 70's or any song that sounds like a pac song from the 70's or 80's i listen to or would listen to..basically anything that sounded good..even if pac didnt sample it

Rahim is right though, the earlier bootlegs did sound better. They were straight from the source. Then they became copies of copies ripped from a CD-R that was downloaded and ripped from another CD-R that was fucked with by bootleggers to keep their CD-Q versions more "rare."

exactly. anyones who owns copies of the 97 boots is lucky.

the last boot i got off of ebay (before this auction) was for like 10 bux...there were 2 other makaveli boots from 97 that i was planning on gettingand i ended up getting 1 out of 3 of those 97 boots. guess who beat me to getting the other 2?

DANTE!!!....that guy has to have like 30 copies of everything damnit...

I listen to any classical song from the 1700-1800s that sounds like a pac song. Monks chanting, whale songs, you name it.

He buys them so he has a monopoly on them and then in the future when people want to buy a Pac bootleg they have to come to him, its smart business. He's basically buying up the competition.

yeah thats what i thought too lol..if uve seen pictures of his 'wall of tupac' he has like 2 big ass shelves filled with pac shit..and who knows how many copies of each CD he has.....in 10 years ill be at his stage in collecting pac...but in 10 years..he will be 10 years ahead of the whole pac scene still...

whats going to happen when he has kids? will he let them listen to his tupac songs? lol

So you only listen to songs that tupac sampled?

Wowzers.

Edit: and that stuff you said about expensive beats & giving them to the Outlawz = freakish.

Yeah, Rahim really did fail after I made my statement. It's ok though. One day he'll realize there's more to rap music than Tupac.

Fortunately enough we here have another, better auction website. I registered on ebay but it sucks incredibly. It seems so unfinished, has many bugs and such and allows cheating. I have 0 feedback on ebay so it sucks when I want something from the US. Also paypal sucks and nobody wants direct bank transfers which are the easiest imo.

the thing is tho..i started listening to other rappers before i listened to pac..so its not going to be the other way around...listening to 2pac for me is being out of the box because i started listening to other rappers like diddy and all of them and mobbdeep..and i didnt know who i liked back then...and then i came to tupac...this is what i came to...so its NOT the other way around...this is what has 'become' of me listening to rap music..and i don't even like rap that much.......
