First of all, I am not a fan of Chuck Liddell, but if Kimbo Vs. Chuck ever happend, I'd be betting the house on Chuck.

You people forget Kimbo has only had 4 fights, and he should of lost other night against James Thompson. Kimbo took 30ish unanswered elbows to the head, which by the rule book = stop the fight, even Kimbo's trainer said he would of stoped the fight.

Kimbo was gassed, did not have an impressive ground game, hell he did not have an impressive match at all. Again, he only has 4 fights under his belt for to mention his name and Chucks name in the same sentence is ludacris.

Chuck by KO in the 2nd round if they ever fight.

I agree that he shouldn't be mentioned with someone like Chuck Liddell, but Kimbo IS a tough dude. Of course there's gonna be people that say he should of lost that last fight. It's whatever really. All I know is I saw him hitting the dude hard and the fight got called before the dude got his ass handed to him royally. He came up on the internet so of course people are gonna give him a hard time. Do I think he can compete with UFC fighters? I don't think so. We'll see how he does in MMA though. You gotta admit it's interesting to see a dude come up like this though.

How did Chuck duck him, though? Chuck has stated he would love to fight Kimbo more then one time, but once your under contract with the UFC, they run your life. They don't allow cross promotion fights, they don't allow fighters to fight under anything but a UFC logo. Again, I'm not a fan of Chuck, but he isn't ducking Kimbo but while Chuck is signed with the UFC, this fight will never happen.



But I do agree Kimbo is good for MMA. Hell, his fight last week pulled an AMAZING amount of ratings and had people who have never watched MMA watching it. Kimbo put a huge amount of energy and time into promoting the PPV last week, doing TV, radio, paper... and he did all that while trying to train for the fight. Class act all the way no doubt.

i heard an interview with Tito Ortiz yesterday where he was saying that now that he is a free agent it gives him the chance to take on anyone, when they brought up Kimbo he said that won't happen because they are trying to groom Kimbo to be some monster and they wouldn't want him against a real MMA fighter that could take Kimbo to the ground and submit him in under 2 minutes like most UFC vets could.
