After well over a decade of silence, former security guard for Death Row, Kevin Hackie, has revealed that he was infact an undercover FBI agency during his time at the label. Hackie’s admission comes after previous reports stated that he had been an informant for the FBI. News that Hackie was actually an agent as opposed to an informant (aka snitch) for the FBI came last Tuesday, October 16 during a panel discussion that followed a screening of the new movie, Tupac: Assassination, Conspiracy or Revenge? Hackie worked as a security guard for the label from 1992 to 1996 during the prime years of Tupac Shakur at the Death Row label.

According to Hackie, arrest will be made in the Tupac Shakur murder investigation. The news surprised several of the discussion’s attendees including the LAPD officer who made the comments that sparked Hackie’s earlier admission. Shakur was shot on September 6, 1996 in a drive-by shooting and died a week later. Hackie boldly admitted that arrests will be made for Shakur’s murder as well as for the one of Notorious B.I.G. who was shot and killed in Los Angeles in March of 1997, many believe in retaliation to Shakur’s shootings. During the initial court proceedings, Hackie alleged to have had “personal knowledge” about B.I.G.’s murder and that people within Death Row offered $25,000 dollars to a law enforcement officer to carry out the murder.

Tupac: Assassination – Conspiracy or Revenge? Will be released on DVD on October 23rd.

That's What I Thought Too, But Apparently Skimming These Articles It Was Known Before Only That He Was An Informant. But I Could Of Swore There Was A Quote In Frank's Book Where He Found He Was An Agent @ The Hospital.

But This Is A Good Topic Not Sure Which Way The New Dvd Is Pointing, But Ive Heard Its Some Shit W/ Death Row With Pac's Murder I Think Is Unfounded, Don't Know W/ Biggie's

But Anyway
Puts A Less Common Perspective Where People Dismiss The Vegas Shooting Not Being Solved. Eyes Were All Around

I don't see what the big deal is. Ever since I read 'Got Your Back' (by Frank Alexander) I knew that most/all of death row security were ex/off-duty cops. Anyone of them could have snitched.
