Did you like Pokemon Red and Blue?

That was pretty tight, but I don't remember the sounds much, the games weren't really 'true' classics like Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy. etc.c..

Masta, I had both blue and red.

I found yellow. You should have seen, I was like Link from Zelda: Ocarina of time when I found it.

lmfao

I was walking through a park with my friend, and I saw something, (ironically, we were talking about the game) and I saw it just laying there.

I immediately traded some shit. then erased it ands started over. xD

I had Pokemon Yellow, then Gold. Then... well then I stopped.

Good times. I remember when my mom's friend did the line up to get Mew on Pokemon Yellow for his son and me. And then I could play Pokemon Stadium on the N64.

The TV show was shit though.

Edit: I also had the surfing Pikachu. Badass

Yeah, a lot of people still don't know that there is a legitimate way to get Mew. Not hacks, codes, or glitches. He's really in there. I found this out only a year or two ago when a friend's younger brother had picked it up for old time's sake.

^^yea i could get him in Pokemon red i think lol

although maybe that was mew two. ill check later. i still have the gameboys and that game somewhere and the save is probably still there.

there was also this glitch pokemon. Messingo or something like that. if you caught it, it would mess up all the writing in the stats and ruin your game. and there was also something else you could do to get all these wild high level pokemon to appear in the wild in that place.

im pretty sure they were down near that fire island at the bottom of the map.

i didnt like the pokemon cartoon, cards or anything like that. i was probably too old for them at that time but the gameboy games were pretty good.

Is there? Mew was legendary. In my elementary school some people lied about how they have it while usually it was just a renamed mewtwo. lol. Nobody really had it though. I thought that there were only some single opportunities to get it on some Nintendo fests in Japan.

You could capture Mewtwo at the end of the game.

As for Mew, I think there was one Nintendo fest in Canada or something. So I got it. There was no other ways than getting it by hacks or through Nintendo promotional tours.

Mewtwo on the left, Mew on the right.

I never followed the show or collected the cards. Only the games. They were quite entertaining on my Gameboy Color. To think that back in the days there were such things as GameBoys with no colors! Now it's been replaced by the DS. Ah the good old days.

I think my friend did it on Yellow. Mew is legit in Yellow, but hidden. R&B might ont have it legitimately.

So how to get it apart from these Nintendo fests? I might try :D
I will attest to the fact that I saw my friend's brother do this in front of me one cold, wintery day when there was shit else to do. I searched and sifted through the shit, fake guides and found this one.

How to Catch Mew in Pokemon Yellow | eHow.com

I don't remember the steps my friend did exactly, but after reading through this list, it sounds very familiar. I believe this is correct.

I will not be trying it anytime soon, but it seems like this is just a small proof that it does exist.

^Won't be trying either.

All I know is that I got it from a Nintendo fest. Kudos to whoever got Mew legitimately.

Yeah. It's not hard. Just seems like you have to do it from the beginning or restart your game so you can do all of it.

I remember those Pokemon conventions. Never went, but yeah, they were there.
