i dont think he ever did a show outside the US either right?
I'm not sure about other countries but I think he did in Italy. Actually 2pac used to travel to Italy often. He was friends with Donatella Versace, he was her model and was paid to advertise Versace clothes.

I've always wondered if anybody on this board had ever seen 2pac live in concert.
Normally my point of thought is if someone here has appeared in any of his music videos.

I think for the most part everyone that's currently active on this board (minus a very few heads) were all born 1982 and after. So the oldest person (saying they were born in 82) was only 14 at the time of 2pac's death. And hip hop wasn't looked at like it is today, so I highly doubt anyone off of here actually went to a 2pac concert/show let alone even be a fan of him back then. I think most users (not all) got into 2pac's music after he passed away.
Lucky you got to see him.

I was born in 82 and was a fan of his before he got killed. It was a short lived timescale because I had just got my hands on MATW and "so many tears" was the bomb track this way. Then AEOM came out and "California luv" was rocking so hard......then he was dead. I remember when I was much younger my older brother used to call me whenever "Keep your head up" was playing on TV. Nice memories.

Hmmm i might be wrong but i think he was in Italy just the once, and he never performed either, other than modeling some clothes. Or maybe im wrong but i've never herd or read anything about him going over to Italy often, other than the time he was there with Kidada and a couple of bodyguards.

That's an interesting topic then. I think he was in Italy at least twice but somehow I think I remember saying that he liked Italy and I was under impression that he used to travel to Italy more often.
Once was soon before his live concert with the Outlawz and the Dogg Pound and he also once mentioned his trip to Italy when he was shooting one of his movies. I think he was also talking about people he met in Europe back then. I don't remember who exactly but I remember that I was surprised about people that he mentioned.

It was actually inside of a mall, upper level of a food court, he was moving thru a little crowd when he said "what's up playa"..as he was going by.

That's actually all it was..I was a lot younger at the time and I was there with family.
seriously? what age were you?

and did he just say that to you as he passed or did you approach him first?

cool story

We were standing in line (food court) and he was moving thru the crowds...I had just glanced up as he was approaching and he then just said it.

Where I was at the time, celebrity spotting wasn't a rare thing. And I'm one of those people who sees celebrity as a regular person, I don't go and treat/see them above everything. So when that happened, it really wasn't all that (especially at the time) but as years went by and he passed and everything, it's kinda cool to say, yeah, I saw him in real life.

Yeah well I was also used to seeing local celebrities because of my high school's location but if I saw someone like 2pac that would definitely leave a mark on me.

kind of gives an insight to what kind of a guy he was if he just saluted you like that. i doubt many famous people would.
