On a Mac, you hold "Shift," "Command," and then "3" for just a full print screen or "4" so you can take just a snippet and choose by moving the crosshair around.
lol all i have to do (and 95% of the world have to do) is press print screen to perform this simple command.

Rebuilt my PC today. Looks a bit different now. Finally swapped Vista for Windows 7. Moved all my files to my server, and cleaned up the desktop files.

i take it that's your linux desktop now casey.

im so glad i familiarised myself with linux about 6 years ago. all thanks to one of my teachers and the technicians at school. sadly he committed suicide. he endorsed open source and firefox > i.e. etc, got the school to send open source software cd's from the ict department to every student's house for free. i know for sure he would have an android phone now and perhaps he'd have done a few projects on android.

Yeah, I'm running the beta release of Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick Meerkat) - stable version will be released on Oct 10th. The current stable version is 10.04 (Lucid Lynx), which I was using for a while but decided to take the plunge and take my chances with the unstable beta. It was a little buggy at first but it takes less than 2 minutes to update every day to the latest nightly build, and all the bugs I found got ironed out since I first installed it. At this stage it's more than 90% stable and any bugs that are left are very minor ones which will all be ironed out before the 10th.

It's so much smoother than Win7 and just way more fun and interesting to use. This coming from someone that has been using Windows since Windows 95.

Plus, from using it I picked up a few interesting terminal commands that I can use on Android too.
