ok, I wouldnt but I will say this
I just lost my sister, Fernanda,june28th, in a car accident, she was 19, the younger in the family, it was and it still is very sad and difficult for me and my family, she was the perfect sister and person, really calm, cautious, with a lot (I mean really lot) of friends and it turned our life upside down...
so we had to decide in a couple of hours this question, me my dad and my mom,
No one discuss about it seriously, like, "hey dad when I pass away I want to be cremated, aight !" But in some informal conversation between us, our beliefs and stuff, we somehow decided that our preference was to be cremated.
And, with my own sad experience it was the best thing to do at the moment, I'm sure there is someone here who already lost a parent or someone that you love.
I dont wish that to my worst enemy, actually to anyone, its a undescribed pain and you feel so weak, impotent.
I dont follow any religion, my parents are catholics , so we have a couple of differences about life, god, afterlife... but at this point we came to a common opinion.
She was so strong, her energy smile happiness was just so perfect that we didnt want to keep her in a place at the cemetery inside a casket.
We wanted to set that energy..everything she mean to us, free...
She had a lot of drems, she was in a very happy and successfull part of her life planning a study trip to Italy and a lot of other things... so we want to set her ashes free in a beautiful beach near our house.... to go with the wind, the sea and the world energy.
We dont want any familiar place, our beach house, a place that we usually go or that we have nice memories...theres a beach about 40minutes from here wich is called Praia do Sonho (Dreams Beach) and next week I guess we're going there to say the last goodbye.....
sorry about the long post, but I'm working and kind of sad today, I needed to write it down....
