I had a Schnitzel, but there were many different kinds. Chicken, pork... then there were different seasoning ones. I think it was a Bier Schnitzel?
Wiener Schnitzel? It has a bit of batter applied to it. I like schnitzels a lot actually. They make great snacks too, whenever a man gets that pork craving.
On the kebab thing, I think a lot of UK people refer to any type of Kebabshop dish as "a kebab" and not merely the kebab itself.
But Im sure there are some Uk folks that can give confirmation on that.
In the Nethies there are also plenty of shoarma shops around (they practically always serve kebab as well) and they are popular in the entertainment districts. Its just that here apperently the "shoarma" term caught on instead of the "kebab", whereas in both instances (UK and Neth) the same type of dishes of places are meant.
That's why I'll always support the multicultural society. Good food
