I went to a roundtable discussion today on Russia, and one of UWashington's professors came by for it. His name is Steve Hanson, and he was pretty damn good. I recommend taking a class with him.

Oh, and I was only able to see about 45 minutes of it because I had class, but in short, democracy is doomed in Russia. Putin will rule all and be a pain in the West's ass for a while longer.

The first pol sci class I ever took was taught by Hanson. It was Comparative Politics, and one of the main reasons I chose a pol sci major. Aside from that class, he mainly teaches 400 level classes dealing with just Russia basically.
