LTTG the album was done before Eminem even stepped in. I don't think they would scrap what's been done at such a late stage but you never know.

Wow, thanks. Didn't know that. You got anymore info on that? Like the producers of several of the tracks before Eminem stepped in. Did they let you hear any of the LTTG, pre-Em? Did you ask him about how much of a disappointment lttg was? Just real curious. I need to see or read your interview.

There's also Supa Dave West's "Out On Bail" remix featuring Yummy Bingham (only a clip has leaked) and supposedly DJ Quik did another track.
I didnt know that, am curious but fuck it lets concentrate on what Amaru will serve up next!

Yeah, make it the Snoop song, and put out a video. And this time, make sure the video is out in time for the album release, not five months after...

True. But the track I heard only had one 'Pac verse, which means I can't see it as the first single.
I hope it's "Pac's Life". That's a wicked song even though it is only one verse. But it would be sad if they changed the beat. They should only tweak the beat a little.

You say that you know the single then expect people not to bug you for the name? haha. That would be like me telling people I found a way to make an alternative for gasoline that gets you 10x the amount of milage per gallon, but then saying stop buggin me, im not telling. By the way, I think you need to lose the bandana and get a haircut.
Thanks for the style advice. Perhaps when you sell 100,000 records like I have, I'll consider it.

I think everything I know about pre-Eminem LTTG is known by other people on this forum, I didn't gain any new info about that project talking to people, the most we talked about that album is about how much Em's mixes sucked. Johnny J was particularly unhappy about that album.

I didn't know LTTG was complete before Eminem got involved though, are you sure about that? What other tracks do you know of besides Jellyroll's "Thug 4 Life," Supa Dave West's "Out On Bail," Stereotypes "Don't You Trust Me," and the DJ Quik track?
Johnny produced the OG of "Thug 4 Life". If Eminem hadn't been involved with Loyal To The Game, then they would have either used Johnny's OG or got him to do a new remix, I'm not sure whether he actually worked on one or not, but I think he might have. I remember asking him about that track but he wasn't too clear about whether he actually did a new version or not. Jellyroll apparently did do a mix, I think they had various mixes of tracks by different people. I remember hearing that Scott Storch had done a couple of different tracks as well though.

Can anyone up the pre-Eminem lttg tracks except for "How Come I Can't Trust You" with Keyshia Cole?

I'm pissed that Johnny J and the Outlaws didn't seem to be vocal to Afeni or Amaru not to push the album back after hearing the travesties for tracks that Eminem made for the LP. I don't understand why they went with Eminem's tracks while there were alternative tracks from other producers that they could've went with. And I guarantee that their production was better than Em's.

Also, I don't understand why the hell Eminem couldn't just mind his damn business and volunteer involvement in the project! Who the hell even told Eminem about LTTG for him to even volunteer wackness? I doubt 2Pac would've had a notoriously bad posthumous album had he not existed. One man by the name of Marshall has helped tarnish 2pac's body of work with what he did. I now wish that his mother actually aborted him now. Damn, I hate Eminem!

It's not their place. Only one of the OGs of LTTG was produced by Johnny.

The album (LTTG) would probably have been shit whoever produced it. Eminem tried to do his best, which wan't good enough, but give him his props as well as his criticism. He has produced 2 of the best post tracks in "Ghost" and "Runnin'". (On the Soundtrack)

The quality of the material for LTTG was poor. And OG's just aren't going to get released. It done reasonabily well for a badly promoted album with little funding. It had a number 1 single (in the UK), and reached platinum status.

That is decent.

To us it was shit. Commercially it done better than pretty much any other rapper this year outside the top 10 most popular. And they are all alive.

As for this years album. No matter how crap or how good it is. It will only be deemed a success if it sells platinum. Which is a good bench. We probably won't like it, but then we never do. If they released an OG box set they'd sell about 100,000 copies and the rest of the fans would download it.

We all like to moan and we'd all do it differently but try looking at the situation economically instead of emotionally. Afeni isn't a record exec, she's a mother of a huge but dead rap star. Who isn't actually even a fan of the music. She does what she can, but surely any song on which she hears her son raping, Alive and well sounds good to her. Any help given by an Eminem, is appreciated. She just wants to keep his name alive and his memory strong, which she has achieved. Afeni is a soldier for the people and with her farm and Pac's school she is doing a very good job.

As for the topic.... Isn't it a cop out to have achieved the single being out by September 13th by airing it on the net? If it isn't in shops then it isn't released, surely.
