Why was Orlando at the fight?

#5
As far as I know he didn't have tickets
Where would you have heard that?

Anderson was at the fight for the same reason every celebrity and gangster and Pac were at the fight. A Tyson fight in Vegas was the place to be.

Why were so many people in Vegas during NBA All Star Weekend?

He would be able to guess that Suge and Tupac would be there. Considering this, it seems strange that he would be hanging around, by himself, in the lobby after the fight.

It could be that he just wanted to see the fight and was waiting around for someone else afterwards, or for whatever other reason. But it still seems kind of weird/dumb.

So I was just wondering if anyone had heard anything else about this or had any ideas.

I think I remember Cathy Scott in an interview on "Before I Wake" saying that Orlando's presence at the MGM Grand that night was questionable because he didn't have tickets. Maybe I'm wrong. I'll have to check.

Yeah i also read that he never had tickets. Regardless i dont think its a big deal going to vegas for a night out, im sure it would be good fun. Ang going to the MGM without tickets aint a big deal either, plenty folks go to events without tickets.

why was he at the Peterson Museum the night BIG got murdered...

http://www.rollingstone.com/news/story/8898338/the_unsolved_mystery_of_the_notorious_big

"B.I.G.'s murder took place on the last day that he and Combs were to spend in Los Angeles. B.I.G. and Combs did not decide until that afternoon to attend the evening's Vibe magazine party at the Petersen Automotive Museum in L.A.'s Miracle Mile District. The party would be a closed event for music-industry executives, Combs had been told; security would not be a problem. The scene at the Petersen Museum apparently had been quite mellow, especially given the complications suggested by the guest list. Among the women in attendance, for example, was B.I.G.'s estranged wife, Faith Evans, whom Shakur, on his last record, had famously claimed to have "fucked" as a way of settling scores with her husband. Death Row rapper DJ Quik had shown up with ten fearsome-looking Treetop Piru Bloods in tow, while the dozen or so Crips who wangled invitations included Orlando Anderson, widely believed to have pulled the trigger on Shakur. By midnight, the museum was crammed with many more people than it was permitted to contain, and a majority were smoking marijuana. At 12:30 a.m., the air was so thick with smoke that an announcer warned the crowd, "The fire marshal's gonna turn the party out!""

I've heard a rumor that Orlando was paid by Bad boy and or their associates to grab the Deathrow chain so Badboy could have the chain on stage to make it look as if they robbed 2Pac for the chain to show he was a fraud as a retaliation for his many disses. Word through the grapevine is that when Pac heard about this, he was so upset that this guy/Orlando helped Biggie in an attempt to embarass him, which explains why Pac rushed Orlando in Vegas. But this was just a rumor I heard a while back. Don't know how true it is though, but I'm starting to lean towards this.

^^I cant really.I read before that there was an altercation between DJ Quik and Biggie at the after party of the Soul Train Awards.Of course Biggie was shot and killed after leaving this party.I doubt Quik was involved.

That's not true. Orlando ripped it off Travon Lane at a mall because A) Death Row is affiliated with Bloods and Orlando was a Crip and because B) the Death Row chain was not only worth money but also unique

Word through the grapevine is that when Pac heard about this, he was so upset that this guy/Orlando helped Biggie in an attempt to embarass him, which explains why Pac rushed Orlando in Vegas.
The truth is easier than that. Travon Lane saw Orlando in the lobby, pointed him out to Pac, and Pac took off.

Don't know how true it is though, but I'm starting to lean towards this.
That "rumor" you heard was nonsense. Go read the Compton Police Report ( http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/tupaclv1.html ). You'll learn a lot about the situation that you apparently don't know.

Coincidence or not Southside was on Bad Boy's pay roll, coincidence or not, they were at the after party in March 1997 with some specified coincidence carrying members.

But through even further coincidence the feds appear to have been in the vicinity for both shootings.
