Okay, i bought mario kart wii with a steering wheel about a month ago now and its been sitting here in my room.

It was originally a present for my cousins who are both girls (aged 17 and 19, turning 20 in november). - i used to be really really close with them but i just dont know whats happening lately. seems to me theyre becoming a little but snobbish lately and becoming closer with their mum's side of the family and sort of neglecting this side a little bit. their mum and dad have practically split up and their mum is a complete and utter bitch. usually every year i go down to london to stay there for a week or two. im planning to go for about 5 days, in the next few weeks.

but now im considering giving it to my favourite niece and nephew who i dont see as often. and my niece is so sweet, adorable and really cheerful etc. theyre aged like 9 and 12 and really into games etc.

just to briefly state im still closer with my cousins than i am with niece/nephew but cant see them playing it much. then again, might sound selfish but i wanna have a few goes on it lol and i hardly go to neice/nephews house as they all live in london.

I would say niece & nephew, they are in the better age range for a present like this. Have a go on it when you give it to them.

Neither, Send it to me. In return you can have this half eaten chicken sandwich that I found when I woke up this morning.

i sort of want to give it to cousins slightly more because it was originally intended for them.

oh i dont know what to do. keep voting and i'll soon make up my mind. in the meantime, i dont know what kind of presents chronic and sofi give to their cousins but im not that sick in the mind.

chronic and sofi are cousins.

okay, ive just realised something and forgot to mention it in my original post (bit if i edit it, people will overlook the edited statement).

i asked my cousin's best friend (though facebook) if my cousin has mario kart for wii. she replied and said no, but that she did borrow her mario kart to her. now i dont know if her friend is going to say "did your cousin buy yoiu mario kart?" or if she just ended up telling her "your cousins gonna buy you mario kart". so they might be epecting it or some shizzle like that.

secondly and finally, i dont know if my neice/nephew have mario kart for wii. last time i went i didnt see them play it so im assuming they didnt have it. but since april who knows? maybe they bought it. im just going to have to ask them.

buying gifts are so expensive these days. everyones birthdays, christmas's etc... all the prices are overinflated. if only they had student discounts on everything!!!!!

why not buy them all a mario kart and go play online together or doesn't the wii have network features
wish i could.

1. i dont have wii and dont really intend on getting one either.

2. the cousins - one of them is in uni, far away from home. and the other is in her final year before she goes off to uni so i cant really see them enjoying it or making much use of it even if the younger one decides to stay local.

i dont see why i should buy another one. i promised myself i would stop buying expensive gifts for people. i have to stop now because its all been adding up and i need to save up for my course fees and other expenditures for next year.

how sneaky. the poll isn't anonymous. OMG NOW YOU'LL KNOW IT WAS ME! :(
i dont think any less of you preach. your vote still has my confidentiality even after the revealing votes.

i think the way ive written my original post has caused bias amongst some members and they deem the niece/nephew more favourablly and cousins less favourablly because of the first impressions. hence why so many people want to reward the 'nicer' people.
