It probably has to do with the fact that the original members (for the most part) are still here. Most other forums people just come and go. I don't know many forums where people stick around for more than 4 years... (Except for some footy support forums). So it's that family familiarity feeling here most people have. Shiet, I think I've been talking to Hizzle on MSN since I was 17. Same with Duke, 18 or 19. So there's a lot of that stuff going around the board.
Edit: Omfg, I just noticed I've been around for the last 8 years. How time passes quickly. lol
lmao nahh i didnt mean it like that haha... i just meant ive been posting on here for about 7 years and most of you guys probably dont know me from a hole in the wall. i was never popular on the internet :embarresd:
i remember when all the hotmail id's and yahoo id's got banned for signing up and had to think up a ways to get around it ... i remember i set up an email on some bruce lee site that was offering free email accounts
what happened to the old hitemup battle federation? there were some awesome battle emcees on here a few years ago and the tournaments were a pretty big deal
where did the likes of killa corleone and thug soldier go?

^^ the significance of key words in the title appealing to older members is like a magnet attracting iron filings from sand and what suffices is those who were lerking around or being passive users are now potentially active.
original guys, keep posting. i'd like to see more people around and see what other people are like around what i believe is the core of streethop (around 20-30 regular users).
when i first created this thread what i had in mind was to see what some of the original posters had to say about the foundations of this site/board and the 2pacboard and hitemup site/forum in addition to see how things were run and by who.
how could anyone surf the site for 8+ years and not post more than 100 times ... it seems odd to me if there are so many active members that are still visiting the board after so long then why aren't they posting ... i wouldn't bother staying here if i didn't post ... i don't see the logic of being a member here and not posting what's on your mind
