Breathing takes oxygen in and carbon dioxide out of the body. Aerobic organisms require oxygen to create energy via respiration, in the form of the metabolism of energy-rich molecules such as glucose. The medical term for normal relaxed breathing is eupnea.

So which part do you like better?

Breathing in or Breathing out?

I love breathing in. Especially during yawning.

I concur. Breathing in feels very nice.

You may also have surpassed yourself when it comes to idiotic threads. :)

when i breathe i concentrate on the movement of the diaphragm. i read books and watched dvds pertaining to the art of tai chi, and breathing is one of its central focus paractices. the aim is to cultivate 'chi' energy in the 'hara' through proper practice/focus of breathing and movement while continuing to maintain a flow of all three :)

Out. When you breath in your blood pressure rises slightly; out, it goes slightly down. Hence, if you're close to getting a heart attack because of high blood pressure, one inhalation could set it off.

No, it's best to eat a triple bacon cheeseburger when you feel a heart attack coming on.
macdonalds service is terrible, enough to give you a heart attack anyway, that wasnt funny jokerman

its best to breathe deeply during a heart attack as a heart attack is caused by lack of oxygen getting to the heart

wasnt jokerman talking about trying to avoid a heart attack. youre talking about during the heart attack.

i like breathing in but cant enjoy it as much since my nose always seems to be blocked up for sum reason. never used to be like that. isnt it due to the constriction of the blood vessels in the nose?

this scares me as i feel i dont breathe properly in the night whilst sleeping - i want my brain to receive a sufficient oxygen supply. oxygen is great for performance and healing cells and tissue. dementia is scary.
