pretty much just gin & tonic nowadays, for the past year or so. it's not because it's an "in" drink (I don't know in drinks, i don't pay attention to cosmo, you fags), but because i can't distinguish between cheap and quality gin and I can between cheap and good whiskey. the first 7 or so years of drinking was mainly whiskey cokes with some vodka+red bull here and there. I like to keep it simple. I'm not a hard-ass though, if you want to buy me a red-headed slut or a long island, I'm not going to refuse it. if a place is known for making cheap, strong AMFs, i'll have one of those. I try to stay away from cocktails (which I classify by anything that has a special name and more than two ingredients) though because they tend to be pricey and it's harder to gauge how much you drank.
but i mean, anything I drink, other than beer, has to have hard liquor (40% alcohol or more). The fuck is the point of paying full-price for a drink that's 17% + further diluted by a non-alcoholic soda (looks at masta with blank stare)? that's the dumbest, inefficient shit.
