What dont Amaru become a record label??

#1
Amaru should become a proper record label and sign artists etc. thats what pac would of wanted and they would certainly have enough money to do so. It could only promote pac more and have a lasting legacy to what pac wanted to do "with makaveli records"
what do u all think?

It seems that if Amaru records signed rappers to their label, you would get large amounts of tribute albums from people that don't even know Pac. It would be a mess.

thatd be cool if they did that and signed ppl that Pac was gonna sign to Makaveli Records...I think Wu Tang, Greg Nyce, Asu and a lotta dudes from One Nation sessions were gonna be signed to it...imagine somethign like that, still standing today..it'd be like a good Aftermath with amazing artists..and Pac

i think they should do this. really sign some talent and take on some unkown producers to be in-house designated so Amaru don't have to buy all these beats. i hope...

To be fair, Amaru only put out one bad album, which was LTTG, and Eminem produced that bullshit, so , in actuality, that doesnt even count.

Amaru is Tupac, doesnt get any better than that.

You act like they aren't gonna do anymore Loyal To The Games... a Mariah Carey and Pac collabo called "How Much" was already confirmed, Amaru started with R U Still Down and gradually declined until they hit Loyal To The Game aka rock bottom.

That's your opinion Devious but a lot of people would disagree with you and find UTEOT prolly the 3rd best posthumous album after R U Still Down and SIR.

Peace

How Much is a song by Mariah Carey recorded in '99 which samples All About U
no Pac collabo.

stupid question, who would run the label, afeni? she dont know shit about music, thats why she hands it over top other people who think they do but are pieces of shit

BTW they should indeed try to become a record label like Lesane said and sign all the cats that were to be supposed to be on Makaveli Records so that means:

Outlawz - the remaining 4 seeing that Napo retired
Thug Life - the whole clique
New Child
Storm
Boot Camp Click
Wu-Tang
Scarface
BTNH
Luniz
DPG
Snoop
Redman

and the rest of the people that were on One Nation. It would basically be the plan to bring out Makaveli Records to life and get all the "real rappers" to sign within his label. Man if Pac was still alive...
Just imagine the possibilities of holding a monopoly on the rap game, Aftermath wouldn't have anything on Makaveli Records if Pac was here or they prolly wouldn't exist.

Oh and I completely forgot put also Crooked I and Ras Kass on that list.

Peace

i dont think they should sign more "real" rappers... instead they should sign some "real" fucking producers... Amaru is Tupac, simply said, like diduthinkidfall said, and its good enough for me. they just need to handle the legacy properly. its not about promoting pac, but it certainly isnt about demoting him either... imo LTTG could have been produced way better, which has been said millions of times, it seems as if pac's true message doesnt come along with the vibe of these new songs, the ROSE 2 sucked nuts big time, i really hope the next pac album sounds better, and i really definately wish they would re do the whole lttg album, re name it, and put it on the shelves. back to the topic though, NO... the last thing they need to do is sign artists, there is only one artist needed for Amaru, and thats Tupac, he has enough music to represent himself for the next 10 years, and he certainly doesnt need a bunch of other rappers making tribute albums with his face stuck on it as if it means something. its nice to pay tribute, but the rose volume 2 sucked so obviously someone doesnt know what theyre doing as far as pacs legacy is concerned... and what is this talk about a pac and mariah song coming out??? or was it just some mariah song that came out in 99 like m4kaveli71 said

of course they would get someone in to manage all the music side of things properly.
I personally wouldnt be signing people that were gonna be on makaveli records 10 years ago. I would want them to sign new talent, some new producers and the person to manage all this could be a former rapper who was aligned with pac, who has a good business mind, as long as they don't have their own personal ego's involved and have them signing all nobody's just because they were friends with them.
Also the production could still come from outside sources as well.
If they did bring in some older rappers or producers, ones that were aligned with pac, i would bring in Daz (i know this will cop a lot of hate) because he can produce and rap and would come at a very cheap price. Also look at signing someone like the game. is he a free agent? They must have plenty of money at amaru why don;t they start putting it to use.

Until The End Of Time was pretty bad as well, at least Better Dayz was decent
UTEOT was bad?
Are you sure you like Tupac?
Better Dayz was Pac at his best....
That shit was amazing!!!!!!
I dont think you guys even listen to the CD's.
U just keep them in the original wrapper and hope it will be worth something... sounds kinda flame-ish to me.

As people say everytime this discussion arises, the album would have been alot better as 1 disc, considering there's only a handful of songs that actually compare to the originals.

if they wanted, they would've already done this, eminem 4 life!!!

No hate at all!! He will start promoting Pac's album in the net, 500$ for a copy!! It will boost Amaru's sales!!

I think they won't do that, they won't produce beats no more, after they finish with the rest of unreleased material, they will promote 2pac's center... Amaru will end like Death Row - releasing "Hip Hop History - 2pac"... damn, what should fans do???
